This is a list of hotels I've stayed at that I've really liked.
1. Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle Center
2. The Maxwell Hotel
Ikai Lan: Great value, fast internet. Free parking!
3. Le Méridien Philadelphia
Ikai Lan: Small rooms but very comfortable. TVs have HDMI input so you can plug in your laptop/iPad (with adapters)!
4. New York Marriott Marquis
Ikai Lan: Incredibly expensive hotel located right in Times Square. Look out the window and you can see the tourists.
5. Le Méridien San Francisco
Ikai Lan: Le Meridien - easily my favorite chain.
6. Le Méridien Piccadilly
Ikai Lan: A million years ago I was upgraded to a Presidential Suite. Oops. Amazing.
7. Traders Hotel
Ikai Lan: Shuttle that takes you directly to Petronas Towers. Incredibly comfortable. Slow internet. Great food. Walking distance to shopping.
8. M Hotel Singapore
Ikai Lan: Amazing swimming pool. Expensive internet. Rooms have a large desk and chair for working. Walking distance to lots of street food.
9. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
Ikai Lan: Love the suites here and at the Palazzo.
10. The Westin New York at Times Square
Ikai Lan: Wow. Double shower heads. Desk with gorgeous view. This is everything you could ask for - too bad it's in touristville.
11. Mandarin Oriental
Ikai Lan: My new favorite hotel in Las Vegas. No casino, but walking distance from Aria and Bellagio.
