Try the hummus with jalapeño, and the labne. The Brussels sprouts look unusual - like a Waldorf salad - but I get why it's the most popular thing on the menu. Seriously delicious.
The food is really good and great dishes for sharing. We did not order main dishes, but we ordered most of the top dishes in the first page and they were realllllly good.
Who knew Duck Shawarma would be so fun to eat? This delectable duck went marvelously with the fig jam’s sweetness and was served in individual cones for each person to experience and enjoy.
Very generous portions, split 2-3 appetizers and 1 main course for a filling meal. The seared tuna is delicious, as is the lamb tenderloin kebob. Cocktails are on point.
We were excited for the beautiful space. First put us in secluded upper room (basically a 12-15 seat closest). Food was good, service slow. Just make sure to make a reservation in main dining room.
everything here is a great choice. every damn thing. don't leave without getting the ilili candybar for dessert, you will regret it for the rest of forever and ever
Thanks everyone for the tips! I tried the Brussel Sprouts, Hommus with Pita bread, Fries, CandyBar for dessert and From Beiruit with Passion cocktail! LOVED EVERYTHING! Great Spot!
One of the few delicious Lebanese food places in Manhattan, Tabboule, Hummus, Shish Taouk and more on the menu. Set in a modern atmosphere with dark lighting, but slightly overpriced.
Everything is good quality but for someone who lived in Turkey for 20 years, there's nothing really fancy. Drink Arak if you like Raki. Baba ganouj wasn't good. Brussels sprouts is tasty.
If you ever had raw kibbeh before and crave it as much as I do, this is the place. Come with an entourage if possible so you can try more of the appetizers. Stunning lebanese food.
Phenomenal! EVERYTHING is good which makes it very difficult to choose. But thank God for small plates right? Definitely on my must do's whenever I come to New York!
The Lebanese and Mediterranean flavors at ilili are unique and funky with dishes like shawarma with fig puree. The bi-level restaurant also doubles as a lounge after dark.
The mini falafel, shwarmacones, and hommus are great! Cutedate spot for cocktails & sharing plates. Upstairs is too stuffy though. Drink/eat downstairs for 1/2 the price.
The mezzes (appetizers) are stronger than the entree dishes here. Stick with the Kibbe Naye Beirutieh (steak tartare) and Arnabeet Mekle (pan-fried cauliflower).
Went to Ilili this weekend. AMAZING food. The fries are as good as they say and it was hard for me not to everything off the menu but the Mezza sampler plates are a great choice. Very shnazzy bar :)
If you go during Restaurant Week, they give you two appetizers, an entree and a dessert for $35/din. It's...quite amazing and gives you an astounding variety of Lebanese food! Delish to boot :-D
