- The airport is dead after 9.30 pm. Very bad time for departures as restaurants and shops close down for the day and very good time to arrive for a quick immigration clearance.

- Plan extra time through security of your transferring. It never fails, they empty my entire carry on (all electronics for work)
- Longest immigration queue I have ever seen anywhere in the world-easily 1000 people stretching to both ends of the terminal. Best airport in the world? I'd call it disgraceful.

- Air India (code share with Asiana) to Delhi (at 14:15 Monday) stops by at HongKong although it seems like a direct flight when sold. Be careful :)
- Cultural activities!! If you are at gate 100+ get there in plenty of time..its a really long haul!!
