Many food options before security - now so many after. Except you have to try King David Dogs in Terminal B. It's an indy must!
We always hit Champs while waiting on flights. Airport is easy to get around.

SamsoniteMay 3, 2011Step outside and smell the roses! The Indianapolis' International Airport garden areas are located outside the lower level of the north and south terminal.
Watch security loves to take their time with your bags. Usually so they can chit chat about random things as opposed to be concerned about security.

nice, small, quieter airport... checking in is a snap. has a mall in the center part.
Both concourses connect behind security so pick the shortest TSA line regardless of departure gate.

David B.June 30, 2013Avoid the Indy 500 restaurant unless you want to spend the time before your flight in the restroom violently ejecting everything you've eaten in the past month. My omelette was cooked in motor oil.

Great Airport. So easy getting and checking in rental car!
My favorite place to eat is the 95th St. Burger joint. It's like Shake Shack meets Steak n Shake.
Easy check-in most of the time. Nice new facility with a very friend staff and security. Couple nice places to eat too - Qdoba!
Starbucks is in Center Mall area but also inside security at the entrance to Terminal A and at the end of Terminal B.
Eat before you go through security! There is not a great variety of food in the terminal, and the lines can be long.

Don't be a hater...it's called sky priority for a reason...no one cut in front of you...for you casual travelers, us road warriors HAVE to have some kind of perks.
If you can afford it, park in the garage, the new $9 economy parking is horrible, long wait, rude drivers. Long term will now be for employees and rental cars which is pointless.
Damn this airport is squeaky clean. You could practically eat off the floor!
Airport maps have heart association-approved walking paths, even in baggage claim! Stay healthy y'all.
The friendliest people and the quickest security line! Doesn't get better than the @INDairport!
Fortunately they have like 5 guards patrolling the non smoking areas because the smell of smoke is very offensive. It's also bad for our health.
Check out "Just Pop In" if you're visiting - a delicious Indy classic!!
If you've never been to the Indy 500, go... At least once. And take plenty of beer!
If the line for TSA screening is long on the B concourse, turn around and go on the A concourse
Want to tire out the kiddies? Take them to the playground near gate B10
Long Term Lot Shelters 1-6 do not, in fact, offer adequate shelter for long terms. I recommend staying at a nice local hotel.
Payless car rental is off site; pick up is outside the ground transportation area. :-/
In the main concourse, Cafe Patachou for all you visitors :)
If you have to fly out around 5am(ish), don't bother to show until 4:15, the gates will open then. Also, none of the vendors are open yet.
The flatbread at Granite City (concourse A) is good and service is quick.
