- Mark HughesSeptember 23, 2017Loved the Shiromaru Hakata ramen with added picked mustard leaves and seasoned egg. Pork rolls also very good to start. Cool place, highly recommend!
- Kaz NakamuraMarch 3, 2010Other ramen places need not apply. Also, I think the pork buns top David Chang's more famous Momofuku renditions.
- David LaBarOctober 9, 2009Try beef tataki or pork kakuni for starters. Move to Akamaur ramen. Be prepared for LONG lines.
- Veronica DelimatJanuary 18, 2016And the noodles could've been a tad more softer instead of al dente. Paying over $16 for this was a major fail.
- Matt BraunNovember 20, 2013Over priced, very salty and atmosphere is more like a club. If you like those things and being rushed to finish you'll love this place. If not, go someplace better.
- Peter ScavoFebruary 22, 2011Bring ear plugs. Staff relies on screaming across the room in Japanese to announce new guests and confirm orders. Miserable. In fact, just save your $ and walk over to Momofuku - much better noodles

- Formerly New York Insider Hipster Joint called Dukes & Dutchesses!
- Sheila DjiwatampuJuly 29, 2010I need to try the ramens here. Tonkotsu is a must. One day NY, I'll come by..
- Cassie DavisJuly 31, 2012The wasabi shoyu ramen leaves much to be desired. Overpriced and overrated. At least my waitress was nice, but the busser was too pushy and asked to take my bowl 4 TIMES before I finished.
- Mike De LeoMarch 21, 2011Okay so the bartender is giving half of his tips to relief in Japan. That's pretty damn cool
- Anna PakmanFebruary 10, 2010Try the Raw baby octopus in fresh diced wasabi starter...you won't regret it!
- hitgirlJanuary 19, 2015i have had such bad experiences with the services here in the past that i can't bring myself to come here again. its way overrated!
- Ippudo's pork buns > David Chang's (Momofuku's) pork buns.
- The miso ramens have the thickest noodles if you like more chewiness.
- HOLY CRAP THIS IS GOOD! went on sunday at 11:30am, short 20 min wait, worth it!
- Richard ReadDecember 29, 2010Great food, but they DO NOT provide doggie bags. The waitress said "it's not customary in Japan". Funny, I thought I was in New fucking York. Ugh.
- Akamiso ramen (akamaru?) is awesome. The pork buns are ok, but not as good as Momofuku's. Go here for the ramen.
