- Sam YoonApril 18, 2013I always enjoy dining at Jaléo's.Overall my experience in DC is better than here though. Also, did you know the prices at Bethesda are a few bucks more expensive? Not a show stopper to deter the trip.
- Karen TookuniOctober 15, 2013Classic degustation menu is fantastic! Good service and attention to clients' need! Had a special session with gluten and dairy free tapas! Super recommended place!
- Angelica PepaDecember 5, 2013My fave are the endives with goat cheese...mmmm. I come here regularly. Love the service, drinks and most of all the food. This place is spectacular!
- Parth AgarwalSeptember 29, 2015Very nice ambience and neighborhood. The paella took some time to be served but the veggie paella was worth the wait.
- Alisu S-GMarch 29, 2014Whatever else your heart desires, do not miss the pan de cristal! Sounds simple but the quality of the bread makes it an experience!
- Why get a regular margarita with a salt rim when you can get a José Andrés Margarita with salt 'air' on top?
- The FeastJune 10, 2011The Bethesda location of José Andrés' popular small plates eatery is a taste of Spain in Bethesda. Plates to order include Andrés' famous red and white gazpachos and the date-and-bacon fritters.
- Stay at the bar where you can get the entire menu and the staff is friendly. The flautas sandwiches are the best.
- Sarah ViningSeptember 5, 2011Order 2 per person to start. Best tapas: Beet salad, fennel apple salad, cauliflower, olives & dates, and the potatoes with tomato sauce.
- KitchenboyAugust 6, 2011If you eat at Jaleo, you absolutely must order at least one Iberico dish. It is pork, but tastes amazing and hardly like pork. Divine swine!
- Nakeva (Photography) CorothersMarch 17, 2012Try the Tortilla de Patatas Al Momento - Delicious Spanish omelette with potatoes and onion. Marvelous tapas style!
- Jenna MackayMay 28, 2013The Majellones Al Vapor (mussels) are fantastic. The Gin and Tonic dessert was also a winner.
- Gloria MieleMarch 17, 2013Try the chef's tasting menu. What a feast! But make sure you're hungry. Every dish a winner.
- FernandaFebruary 7, 2013Must try restaurant week menu... And do not forget the sangria... One of the best I ever had :)

www.foodandwine.com/donate - Michele Wendell-SenterJanuary 9, 2010If you are visiting ANY of the Jaleo restaurants in the area, this is the one to go to. Don't miss the Gazpacho to start and Flan for dessert.
- Katie FriedmanDecember 1, 2013Don't be afraid to try something new here!!! Especially the bacon wrapped dates!!
- One word: Iberico. Get it! In any dish. Jose knows his "jamon" and no one in the EEUA knows Spanish ham like Jose!
- Marguerite PridgenAugust 4, 2016The bar counter and bathroom could have been cleaner. Entree sizes seemed more tapas sized...Like Barcelona WB better.
- Steve-SSeptember 18, 2010The tapa portion of the paella is about the size of a medium pizza- stretches the normal definition of "Pettit plate"- still very good.
- Evelyn ChouDecember 31, 2013There's another Spanish restaurant called Guadados down the road, and I like that one better
- Bob RamsteadOctober 14, 2011The welcome was fantastic!!! Great food and people! Portland.....come and get it!!!
- Lynn MillerApril 21, 2010Enjoyable meal, but very annoying to have lights turned on at 10 pm. If you want to linger over dinner, you still need to go to DC. They roll up the sidewalks in Bethesda after 10 pm.
