I've been coming to Jaleos for 17 years...even did a promotional commercial for them and have known Jose Andres for almost 15 years. The food is consistently fantastic and the staff is amazing!

Some of the nicest and most competent bartenders I've ever seen. The gin and tonics are divine. You could even ask about the secret drink "The Brown Man."

My all tome favorite restaurant on DC. They've reorganized the menu a bit (and jacked up the prices on some of the more popular things). Would recommend the cebolla asada and the ensalada rusa.

If you get nothing else, get the papas arrufgas and the orange flan. I have always hated flan, but theirs is impeccable.

Sangria not worth it and made a little too dry; tapas is really quite good all around - shellfish and pulpas are tender but make sure to try the hams.

The food was good, but service a little spotty. I hate to nitpick, but just getting water took a very long time, plus our waiter was slightly condescending when we said it was our first time there.
