Best sushi I've ever had. Make reservations, read menu in advance, expect high prices and high quality. Great for business meetings and dates, but very busy.
Get the Shilla Special galbi. Hands down, my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in NYC... no where near as good as the KBBQ spots in LA though, but for the tri-state area, not bad
UNI! They have the best uni I've ever had in the US. I thank the owner/chef for shopping around the world in search for the best to have at his restaurant.
Best French restaurant I've been to. I honestly liked this place more than Tom Keller's The French Laundry in Yountville. Lunch pre-fixe is worth it.
Order their pre-fixe with wine pairing. They have 2 Michelin stars because they're that awesome.
I liked this place more than the Korean Fried Chicken joints in LA, but the quality here came down a bit after switching to owners/management. Still worth checking out. Gets very noisy.
Food is just okay, but their corn on the cobb is AMAZING! I only go there to order the corn and have a few drinks (drinks are not amazing, just average).
The tuna here is really good and overall the fish are all fresh. However, I go mainly for the tuna. This location is the best imo of all the Gari restaurants in NYC.
