This authentic neighborhood French bistro is one of our favorites! Covered patio is cool and dog friendly, as is the owner, Arnaud and his team. Specials are always good, as are mussels and salads.
Thursdays in summer, Atlanta Botanical Garden is open late for cocktails in garden. It's a fun event with live music. Book a table at Longleaf, or just stop by, for tranquil dining in great setting.
Casual date night. One of the best Cobb Salads, and the burgers are to die for. Good beer and wine list. Bring the dog (or play with the many dogs on the patio in nice weather).
The pappardelle with meat sauce tends to be my favorite, but squid ink linguine also amazing. Can't go wrong with any pasta. Caesar Salad is legendary. Great spot in a cool area--date night/couples.
Dim lighting, nice vibe; it's casual and funky but the culinary talent is clear. Any pasta dish. The cacio e pepe pasta and the black spaghetti are my favorites. Nice bar for a cocktail in advance.
Been coming here for 20+ years. A delightful urban oasis. Good restaurant and also snackbar. Check out the orchids. Children's garden has fountains to play in. Great summer concert lineup.
VERY special occasion place. Book early! Expensive and hard to get in, but earns every bit of its praise. LOVE the fixed menu--no choices, you eat the courses they bring and they're all delicious.
Summer concert series. BYO food & drink (or buy). Tables are great for party of 4-6 or sit on the lawn. Have been to many shows here and never a bad seat. Take a rideshare/cab; parking is hard.

Go after dinner when the weather's nice, chill on balcony of this very trendy Buckhead velvet rope spot. Bartenders are efficient and no-attitude; crowd definitely has attitude.
Great spot for late late night. Trendy bar with great burgers (used to be only at 11pm; now you can order them any time). Bartenders are true artisans and will make you something fun AND good.
Dark and elegant steakhouse that's good for date night or several couples. Impeccable food, pro service, and you can linger and chat. Steak place for those who don't love old school steakhouses.
