Banana muscovado loaf and the Halloween seasonal bonfire pumpkin bundt gets my thumbs up. Creamy icing and moist cake textures give you heaven in ur mouth. Can't wait to try the other flavours!
Sea Urchin pudding is FRESH, zucchini tombretta is is great for vegetarian friends, iberico pork collar is a pleasant surprise but you MUST try their slow cooked egg w/ chorizo sausage!!
The maggie Noodle is overcooked and sticking together, msg is inside the lump of overcook noodles. Never coming back. O drinks sucks too. Overpriced too. $4 for a small lump of msg filled noodles
Loved it! QQ noodles, right flavor, chilli is spot on! Reminds of a Sarawak noodle shop I used to go to in Senai.

Have been coming here for the ngoh hiang and century egg porridge for years. One of the best! Must try!

Porridge: Tasty Cantonese-style congee, boiled until thick & creamy. My fish porridge has bits of goji/wolfberries, giving the occasional sweet bursts amidst hints of sesame oil flavour
Very soft carrot cake made in house. Deliciously fried. Both black and white versions are good. Big portions too. What more do you want?!
One of the best hawker stalls u will find that serves up charcoal roasted meat. Enjoyed the char siew and roast pork ribs. The cut of soft bones ribs is great @ $38/kg.
Have to wait at least 15-30 mins on weekend mornings. Must try the thick yellow noodles with chili.
Highly recommended. Both peanut & coconut fillings are plentiful & flavorful. S$ 3 for 5pc; less than 4pc at 70cents each. Must try!!!
Nice soft fluffy tutu cake with yummy filling! One of Singapore's most well loved snack among the locals and the Tan's nailed it.
Get there early. The plain appam with sugar and grated coconut is divine, but the Princess Appam is the choice for a savory start to the day. Asia's version of a savory crepe I'd choose any day
Mutton briyani is the best I found in Singapore so far. Try the ice cream as well.

The cendol has a rich pandan flavour,which is the main difference between here and other dessert stalls that use generic green jelly.Though gula is less concentrated,this can fight with ABC's Jin Jin!

Order the $10 bowl cos it's very worth it. The soup is amazing sweet and unlike others from the seafood ingredients (and not pork ribs) that it's cooked with.
When I eat Mee Hoon Kway at home, each piece is uniquely shaped & sized. This stall serves the same, albeit with uneven thickness (as they don't have time to roll the dough flat). Home-made chewiness!
Mutton Curry is to die for...ask for extra curry. The mutton just falls off the bone!

Overall taste is good of old styled fried oyster. The crispy of fried flour is simply delicious. The drawback is its quite pricy and the amount of oyster is quite minimal, need to order extra special.
Fragrant and crispy, with not too much flour, this is definitely a great plate of Orh Luah (Fried Oyster with egg). The fleshy, fresh and succulent oysters are a bonus.
The peranakan high tea set offers a tasty alternative to usual high teas. Highly recommended for those new to this local cuisine to have a taster.

Teppei-san's signature Kaisendon is a good value, almost as good as at this flagship restaurant. Add-ons like uni and mince negitoro available. Fried croquet is good too.
Best-seller (lunch & dinner) is Kaisendon ($16). Top up $6 for added ingredient (scallop, unagi, tuna belly or ikura) + a drink (bottled water, soft drinks, flavoured tea)
Western dishes prepared with Szechuan interpretations. Think spicy and sour with ingredients like Szechuan peppers & Mapo (spicy bean) sauce. A popular example is Find The Chicken In The Chillies
White chrysanthemum with cacao bits and lychee raspberry are my favourites. Frankly speaking, the other flavors like lemongrass basil and spiced pear are really unique too. Gotta try them all!
Japanese dark ale is pretty good. Don't forget to order the gyoza and smoked oysters!
