It’s true, the cheesecake is famously good…especially when you can take it to go! The food is all-american diner, with a very old-school menu. Huge portions.
Not a great place for an actual meal, but that's not why people come here in the first place. It's the cheesecake. Rich and delicious, get a slice and you won't be disappointed.
Try the soup and half sandwichlunch special. The matzo ball soup and corn beef ssndwich are both good. The original cheesecake may please others, but not me. Heavy, gummy, and flavorless.
Even before his days of playing for NY, Carmelo Anthony made a point to stop in at Junior's when in Flatbush. Watch Melo's brother talk about Junior’s role in BK history: http://youtu.be/ffhm8VCVjKs
The southern fried chicken is huge and mash is morish. I know it's been said before, but try the cheesecake, I had a religious experience eating mine. Simply amazing.
You can't come to NYC and not get a slice or a whole cheesecake from Juniors it's just not right. It's like coming to NYC and not having a hot dog on the street. #realnewyorkcity
I can't get over the rat that was seen on top of the cheesecakes a couple years ago. Google it please. If that's what their secret crack ingredient is count me out! no matter how good they are.
