- Sean MillerDecember 31, 2017Oldest Marriott still operating, and it still looks great! The customer service is excellent and the rooms look like they got a refresh recently.
- Rob HavasySeptember 15, 2015The whole place beyond the lobby is tired. Just a sea of institutional beige and green in the hallways. Building, rooms, and layout are showing their age. But staff is friendly and competent.
- David DimmettMarch 13, 2013It's the oldest Marriott still in operation, but the room I had and the common spaces were well done. Most importantly, the staff were great.
- Rob HavasySeptember 16, 2015If you don't like walking prepare to overpay at the restaurant in the hotel because there is no place to eat or drink within a .5 mile radius. And most of that closes by 10pm.
- Georgetown is a short walk over the Key Bridge. Make sure you cross the bridge on the west side on your way back or you'll go out of your way finding a crosswalk.
- The place to have daily brunch and u must ask for Mr. SHASHI the best smiling staff
- The place to be for brunch ask for SHASHI the super smiling staff that u will never forget
- Lisa LangeJanuary 24, 2014Great breakfast buffet. Bring an extension cord because there's not enough outlets. Beds are wonderful!!.
- The best place to have Sunday Brunch at affordable price
- Small rooms, but very clean. Some rooms have decent views. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay if you are flying in or out of National.
- Not a lot of fuss made by any of the staff if you have Platnium Elite status. The Elite desk was unmanned during our check-in. Hotel is showing its age, but the lobby is updated and comfortable.
- Fantastic deals on the weekends - way more affordable than DC hotels.
- Akashi JinJuly 2, 2010Watch your clothes at the pool: Mine were stolen while I swam. Also, better to wear old bathing suit-- the chlorine level can be very high. Friendly place: Management expressed regrets about both.
- Julio SanchezJune 30, 2013If visiting DC, then this hotel is very comfortable and just over the river.
- Gwendy Glamarr B.January 19, 2013Cool little hotel. My room is tiny and there were lady bugs in here.. Was not thrilled with that! Other than that great view
- Jenn MesenbrinkMarch 28, 2013Bad news at #Marriott check-in -- no rooms with double beds available, so our family of 4 will be sharing a modest king-sized bed tonight. Really unfortunate for us.
- Staff was very pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure it was an enjoyable stay
- First room had faulty air conditioning. Gave us a better room, still not the best air conditioning. Comfy beds. Nice views & location. Not the cleanest rooms though. All in all, not bad.
- Easy access to Metro. Short walk to Georgetown. Avoid first few floors as pool is noisy even at night.
- Gregg GraubinsAugust 12, 2010Epensive food at the bar restaurant Connexion. But you'd expect this at a hotel. However, the desserts are especially small and pricey for the portion you get. Has some good beer selections and TVs!
- Very few (terrible) outlets. Staff is kind and helpful. Overall great week staying here.
- Katie BeckmannMay 1, 2011For a nice hotel, you'd think that guests would come first. You get charged $17 a day just for parking, which they fail to mention as you come in. They also try to charge you $13 for wi-fi.
- The staff is wonderful. They make you feel at home :)
- Everyone has been fantastic! The buffet breakfast is killer! Two blocks from the Metro :)
- Dobry DobrevSeptember 17, 2016Bathroom too small and door does not open fully. The room is dark and has only a few night lamps
- MeshalDecember 6, 2018Old hotel, average rooms, but in great location, M street less than 10 minutes walk.
- There's no self serve breakfast offered, and the waitstaff expects tips if you eat at the buffet.
- Needs renovating! Staff was no where to be found when we pulled up in taxi! Long wait for other services!
- Akashi JinJuly 4, 2010Lots of smokers here tonight in the courtyard near the pool. Doesn't seem like a family-friendly place. Too bad, because lots of kids in the pool.
- 2 washers, 2 dryers ... Bring quarters, no change machine.
- No wifi in room, limited choices in-room dining, nice view
- Kiah JonesJuly 1, 2016Dirty rooms. Filth on the toilet, tub and found popcorn on the floor when we checked in- never again.
