Very cool place. New in the area, moderate noise level but still good to talk. Snail as starter is great. Grilled wild mushrooms and cauliflower are great. Entree are all good. Had a nice meal.
The menu is full of American crowd-pleasers, but also includes several Italian-influenced dishes like porchetta with escarole, calf's brains with capers and lemon, and squashgnudi with Parmesan.
Get the BLT with burrata, lardo, shaved white truffles, and a sunny-side-up egg ($38), as well as a handmadespaghetti with Parmesan and truffle two ways, shaved over top and in a rich butter ($45). Read more
Whiskey fan? You can get your intake in a cocktail form as well as dessert form (caramel pudding w/ bourbonwhipped cream + pretzel crumble). For 2 ppl or less, request the chef's table in the back.
Muffulettaburger was seriously good, and even better (somehow) heated up the next day. Get the peach and bourbon cocktail for a drink. Skip the fluke and toasted quinoacrudo (mushy, blah).
Great for a drink and a quick bite after catching a recital at Carnegie Hall! Bustling and dimly lit with an inventive cocktail menu and good small plates.
Marc Murphy (Ditch Plains, Landmarc) ...seriously stepped-up American bistro fare, including bone marrow slowly topped with roasted snails & garlic butter, and a grilled skirt steak with chimichurri.

The Bitches say: C-. The chic decor and great service is on par with Viceroy standards. But with so many fantastic dining options in NYC, I wouldn’t go out of my way to brunch at Kingside with locals. Read more
The ambiance is the only positive. The servers have no knowledge of the menu or cocktails, encourage redundant orders, forget to send orders to the kitchen, and we had to ask the host for our check.
Try the grilled kale, porchetta and roasted chicken, or if you're up for it, the lamb drains seasoned with capers. The bold black and white design will have you mesmerized.
