It's all good, but brisket all day long! Get there early and pitch a chair. Try to go when there's not an event in town (SXSW) to knock an hour or two off the wait. Consistently magnificent.
Worth the LONG drive. Only open Sat. Go early, you don't want your favorite meat to run out. The moist brisket was phenomenal-every bit as good as Franklin's. Also, ribs, smoked turkey, pork shoulder.
Long wait and somewhat show line, but great BBQ. Brisket is your go to here, and the pork is great too.
An old standard! Brisket is always solid, and the smoked turkey is always juicy. Lines move fairly quick.

Some of the better BBQ you'll get east of the Mississippi! Great brisket, and the jumbo smoked chicken wings are great! And get that cornbread!
Another world-famous BBQ mecca. The sauce is a little different than your standard TX fare, but is good. All of the meat offerings are legit.
Pork ribs here bested the beef offerings. Smaller than Texas portions, as you might expect outta Texas.
Chopped brisket sandwich is always a good call for outside mobility during shows...
