Do not miss the funicular when you are in Como - the view from the top is spectacular. Note for electrical engineers: Alessandro Volta grew up in Brunate, not far from the funicular station.

Fascinating museum with lots of important cornerstones of technology. Pascal's original calculator, the Jacqaurd loom, and Lavoisiere's lab are must-see exhibits.

Very nice collection of Navy aircraft on a historic WWII aircraft carrier, excellent exhibits and presentation. A must visit when you are in Corpus Christi.
