Kursad Albayraktaroglu: Do not miss the funicular when you are in Como - the view from the top is spectacular. Note for electrical engineers: Alessandro Volta grew up in Brunate, not far from the funicular station.

Kursad Albayraktaroglu: Excellent restaurant in lovely Trastevere - too bad we could only visit it once. Lots of locals seem to eat here; an unmistakable sign that the food is authentic.
Kursad Albayraktaroglu: Fascinating museum with lots of important cornerstones of technology. Pascal's original calculator, the Jacqaurd loom, and Lavoisiere's lab are must-see exhibits.
Kursad Albayraktaroglu: Very nice collection of Navy aircraft on a historic WWII aircraft carrier, excellent exhibits and presentation. A must visit when you are in Corpus Christi.
