is the taxi line insanely long? fire up uber and grab an uber x. it's cheaper to manhattan, and they usually pick you up in under 3 minutes. first time on uber? use code 8jtft to save $30!
SharazJune 16, 2013I will not recommend LaGuardia Airport Hotel to anybody. Staying there was a nightmare. Unfriendly inefficient staff. Not worth for the money. I know this is not the place to share my experience.

I hear Delta stands for Doesn't Ever Leave The Airport! Have a few at one of the many depressing places in the Delta terminal. You may scratch your eyeballs a few times
Decent food at the new restaurants in the Delta terminal. + 3 nonstops to New Orleans daily!
No matter how desperate you are, think twice before eating from the public airport hot and cold buffet. The consequences could get ugly. What was I thinking. Learn from my mistake.
Is there a dress code that requires everyone to wear "I <3 NY" apparel?

Brian PateJuly 28, 2013This is the worst airport I have ever been to. It was dirty and the food choices were a day old sandwich from Au Bon Pain or a pretzel from Auntie Annies. Will avoid this place in the future.

Grab a ten dollar beer before your flight! Not! Too $ and shabby service. Go for a quick shot of Jameson instead.

Try paperless boarding pass. Worked perfectly, even in holiday rush.
Book a car ahead of time. The cab line at Delta can be a nightmare.

That small cup of pineapple with no price tag is $6.48. As of today at least. Crazy.
Chizom EkpunobiAugust 30, 2012My box was like 6 pounds over and the luggage guy let me go after he asked me if I can swim in dry ice after it melts. The answer is no. Dry ice doesn't melt, it sublimes.
CristieNovember 17, 2010The Delta terminal has great food options. BYO Coke if you're opposed to drinking Pepsi products. My husband was disappointed to find Pepsi the only cola option here.

There really is no food here. Don't come hungry, you won't leave happy
Grab a drink before heading through the screening with the TSA at the NYSB!
this is a very old airport. don't expect the niceties you find in modern airports. example: very small and cramped bathrooms. there's even line of for men's room.
TSA at security here are major douches especially early in the am
