- AndrewFebruary 18, 2019Cute restaurant, good sized portions, and Mariachi style band on the weekends? Awesome!
- Jennifer ChildsJune 11, 2012I'm going to fantasize about the chicken quesadilla for a long, long time. Make sure you get Jeff as your server...he's friendly, attentive, and fast. Couldn't have had a better experience.
- Anne GonnellaDecember 18, 2012This is especially nice in the warmer months when the patio area is open and the kids can get fresh air and the noise they make isn't contained by walls.
- They have always had the best quesadillas here. Been getting them since the early 90’s!!!
- More "Tex" than "Mex", but don't miss Gilberto's Specialties, which are all Baja inspired fresh seafood dishes and they do a great house margarita !
- Best Mexican restaurant in the Ellicott City/Columbia area. My husband (a mole sauce self-proclaimed connaisseur) highly recommends the chicken mole here!
- JennJanuary 21, 2012Lunch specials are served 11:30am-3pm and start at $8.25. Check the calendar on their website for deals like all you can eat tacos and free dessert on select nights.
- Maria LouzonMay 4, 2013Awesome maragritas- same owners & menu as El Azteca in Clarksville or Pochanga in Ellicott City = DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.
- They have a solid selection of Jose Cuervo tequilas including the Family Reserve, and Don Julio 1942! Jeremiah Weed and Smirnoff flavors also great!
- The Chicken Mole & Asado De Puerco are my Favs on the menu, both are great! And the house Margarita's are good too.
- Best nachos on earth. Wednesday it's a steal $5, you won't leave disappointed
- Paul CunninghamDecember 19, 2014Good enchiladas, decent Chile rellanos. Has mariachi music at night.
- Waylond Dennis CushnieJune 17, 2012Reminds me of Blockheads in New York City. The kicker is they have a DJ.
- MikeApril 26, 2012Typical MarMex (Maryland-Mex). Nothing to write home about. Another place where if you don't know Authentic Mexican you'll love it
- Wednesday nights is $2 nights including draft beer 22oz, Jack daniels , house wine, house sangrias and margaritas
- Frank PencaMarch 18, 2010Go to La Palapa and skip the enchilada verdes. The steak fajita was the perfect color pink.
- Tony JApril 4, 2014The salsa looked and tasted like it was from a can. Had the blancas enchiladas, nothing to rave about.
- Cristi CasaresApril 18, 2015Would NOT recommend. Staff was rude, food is gross, drinks are boring and not even fresh. Being a tequila bar I was disappointed is see them using margarita mix. Definitely a fail.
- Deb LeeMay 25, 2014Disappointed. We waited for 15 minutes. No one came to take our order so we left. =/
