Although more Latin American than strictly Mexican, if you like Ceviche, there's no better place in Baltimore to experience such an amazing selection. The Fire & Ice Ceviche shouldn't be missed !
Arcos is another of Baltimore's "high end" Mexican inspired offerings. The prices aren't cheap but the food is excellent and the open air courtyard is great for a romantic summer night out.
Think chef inspired interpretations of Mexican food in a trendy almost fine dining, corporate chain atmosphere and you'll have Miguel's figured out. But the food "is" excellent, so they made my list.
Another more Tex than Mex place, but the Baja Fish Taco's, the Camarones Brochette, and the Margarita's are definitely something you gotta try!
The Ultimate Burrita Prenada, a 2-foot, 8-pound monstrosity is the challenge you won't win. But don't miss the Latin American part of their menu or the house made Veracruz Mole over chicken!
More "Tex" than "Mex", but don't miss Gilberto's Specialties, which are all Baja inspired fresh seafood dishes and they do a great house margarita !
Like the original La Palapa, Tex-Mex overcrowds La Palapa Too's menu. But they also have a Baja Specialty section and their signature house Ceviche is definitely something you shouldn't miss !
It's only got a couple "authentic" mexican dishes, but sometimes you have to give into your greasy cheesy Tex-Mex cravings. Try the deep fried avocado with chicken n cheese. You won't be disappointed.
With an identical menu to Los Portales and Mi Hacienda, Plaza Garibaldi is the best of the three. AZ & NM transplants swear by it's evenly split and well executed Tex-Mex / Cali-Mex menu.
Most of everything on the menu is delicious. Specials are always the best. Get the cholula wings. Best I have ever had!
