- Al SNovember 30, 2016Fantastic Belgian-inspired beer bar with decent draft selection (15 beers) and an amazing bottle list. (I had a bottle of Cantillon Vigneronne.) Quality food, but the menu is limited. Not cheap though
- Ryan LeggettNovember 19, 2013Great beer selection and a super friendly staff that helps you not feel like an idiot when you're ordering from a seemingly endless list of beers that you can't pronounce. Trust their recommendation!
- Jan De PoortereJuly 22, 2016Michael knows everything about beer and especially the Belgian ones. He has more than 500 of them and will gladly help you get the perfect beer for your taste. MUST GO TO IF YOU LIKE BEER!
- Tom McGhanAugust 13, 2014Prepare yourself for some really, seriously sketchy service, but their beer selection is amazing (don't like hops? Try the Bavik!), and their fries are excellent especially given the range of sauces!
- Deirdre BlackJanuary 18, 2013Great variety of beers. Very pleasant waiter (Mat). He knew his beers and where we could go later for good coffee and Hungarian coffee cake.
- Duncan CarrollSeptember 24, 2017The most unpretentious beer bar in the city, and definitely the best bar in North Beach
- Graham SiegelAugust 20, 2017Great mussels, great fries, epic beer list. Perfect antidote to a foggy day/night in SF.
- Harish KrishnaJuly 6, 2013Get the worlds most refreshing beer - Rodenbach classic. And then try every other beer on tap.
- Julie GengoMarch 2, 2014It's a fantastic speakeasy type place with a tap list that is out of this world. Great decor and atmosphere
- Rob WMay 26, 2013Looking in from the street, this place doesn't look like much more than a restaurant, but go in & downstairs & you will find the bar where everyone is hanging out.
- John CassilloSeptember 7, 2017Unsung spot for Belgian beers and cool vibe for just enjoying interesting bottles.
- Ernie GranilloJuly 24, 2012I've never eaten here, but the cellar bar is a great place to grab a belgian ale in SF. Cell phone reception is crap down there, but hey i think that's a good thing.
- Sebastian DeLucaMay 26, 2017Beer recommendations are superb. Mussels and fries are great. Staff is the best.
- Mitchell BallatoreAugust 28, 2010OMG! This place is amazing. There is a menu bigger than the cheese cake factory with only beer. If u only like cheap beer this place is not for u, but if u like good beer, dont care about price than t
- Andrei RomanovJuly 4, 2010If you're whining abort price, look at the ABV and size. Then come during happy hour to fey $1 off. You can end up with a 330cl that's 8% and only $3. Worth two beers anywhere else and way tastier.
- ®hiannonMay 17, 2013Downstairs all the way to the back - is a perfect date spot candle light and all
- Peter FridayDecember 5, 2012Deep inventory of beer. My personal favorite is the Caracole. Get the muscles and fries with it.
- Rob WMay 26, 2013Ask the bartender what's behind the secret passage behind the bar. It's not just an ordinary bookshelf.
- Chris H.November 12, 2013Go downstairs. Drink just about anything on tap. You will not be disappointed.
- Christian BakerApril 11, 2015Spendy but great. Pommes frites have about 12 different dipping sauces.
- :)December 14, 201118 beers on tap and 250 different bottles. Not to mention the very helpful and knowledgeable bartenders. Enjoy!

- Tyler WillisJanuary 27, 2010The fries are decent, but you're there for the beer. I'm a fan of the allagash on tap, but there's plenty of variety (250+ bottled plus many on tap).
- Aaron MillesonFebruary 28, 2012For food get the burger - fries come with mayo based sauces (best is either wasabi or chipotle)
- Kelly SimsJanuary 21, 2012Skinny bar tender in the cellar with the bad haircut is pretentious and ruuuuude. Order from another bartender.

- TomApril 7, 2013Terrible place to eat, this it totally no Belgian food or service. Send your chef to Belgium first before you let him cook Belgian food! French fries are no appetizers!
