A classic french restaurant for the upper east side set. Wonderful food and a dessert trolley that was well worth asking for two. Two tables away sat Henry Kissinger, telling stories.
I can't imagine a better dining experience. Went to Le Perigord with my wife for our anniversary and everything was so wonderfully prepared. This may be our new spot for special occasions.
An “Old Guard” institution serving no-nonsense classic French Cuisine. Start with the Vegetable Tart, the then Buffet Froid and finish with the Dover Sole.
Make sure to dress properly. The lobster bisque is one of the best I've ever had. I saved about $15 at lunch with my FoodFan Select card which was neat.
It’s no wonder why Le Perigord is such a popular destination for evening meals no matter what day of the week. In our visit we were treated like kings and ate like kings as well – their signature roas
Came here during restaurant week - definitely glad I didn't pay full price for the food. The vegetable tart was delicious but everything else was just okay.
Old school resto that's only kept afloat by its equally old regulars. Decent food at not so decent prices. Stuffy and condescending maitre d' does not help.
Avoid this restaurant. Service is rude, food is mediocre. We were here during restaurant week. $38 for a full meal was reasonable. But, the food is like tourists food in Paris - not the real thing.
