Great music, excellent food, courteous staff. A gem in Bushwick! I'm definitely going back. Try the John Daly or Ruby Slippers - my favorite cocktails here.

Amazing $4 bloody Mary with food processed veggies and a hint of spice. Good southern specials like Chicken Fried Steak ($13).

Brisket was great. Mashed potatoes were really flavorful and creamy. Awesome beers on tap for $6. Really friendly and knowledgeable bartenders.

The hush puppies here are great. Go with the pulled pork mac and cheese too. Samantha is the bees knees.

Similar to nearby cobra club. However, they have draft beer and a soul food menu. Friendly bartender as well.

Was hoping to find good soul food here, no luck. The portions are tiny and the food left me unmoved. The only plus is that the 1 bartender AND server was really nice. Thumbs down for the music choice.
