I really like this place. Good food, helpful and attentive service, and a quiet location. Definitely worth seeking out.
A former ugly duckling that has truly become a swan. The room rates, unsurprisingly, have risen to match this transformation.
This is fascinating, but I remain amazed that it's become so very famous. I'm very glad that I made the effort to visit it.
Decent food, and amiable surroundings. Sandwich and cake bar, but also does some hot food. Excellent and full-on free WiFi.
Everything about this place exudes class. However, next week the hotel closes down as an Intercontinental, and reopens on 1 May as a Kempinski. Here's hoping that not too much gets changed.
Handy nearby restaurants, and excellent road connections. With a petrol station right next door.
Good breakfast (I've not tried other times). Very polite and helpful staff. And Salzburg is a beautiful location.
There's no connection, so check in when/where you can. The views are stunning, and the surrounding countryside is beyond beautiful. Be sure to enjoy the bus ride up, and the brass lift experience.
Hard to fault. The entire staff is helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere is one of calm; both spa and restaurants memorable. Expensive yes, but one gets what one pays for.
The breakfast here is absolutely wonderful, with an enormous buffet and extensive choice. It's possible to last nearly the whole day if one has breakfast late enough. And the service is excellent.
This is one of the best department stores in the world (ask anyone). There is a fantastic range of goods, and helpful and polite staff. Also excellent (and relatively cheap) parking facilities.
This place gets better every next time I go there. But leave yourself plenty of time, because you'll want to enjoy the views as well as the food.
This is a good place. Good range of low-key breakfast fare, and evening meals are great too.
