Not too many choices for food beyond security and lines are long. Grab food before you get into airport property if possible.

Taylor MichieJune 20, 2010Security at MCO is a hassle. It is not the kind of airport where you can get there 15 minutes before the flight closes and still make it. There is always someone holding up the line. Allow 45+ mins.
The new preTSA check line only applies to Delta passengers. Even If you use the service on a regular basis, they will deny you if you are flying another airline
LeslieFebruary 13, 2013It's amateur hour at the security checkpoints. Tons of strollers, wheelchairs, and first time travelers. Anticipate at least a 45 minute wait in the security line.
Security line is longest I have seen in ages. It was a one hour wait at 545 am! Get here early!
Pick up ground transportation on the first floor.

If you are flying BA or Virgin find your way to gate 91. It's usually empty ad very peaceful.
Pauline SMarch 2, 2011If you haven't got loads of luggage there are frequent buses that go to & from International Drive for only 2 bucks. Saves a lot on taxi or shuttle fare.

Shamir PatelSeptember 6, 2011Take your shoes off (unless under 12 years old), liquids out of bags, belts off waist and electronics out of bags and then get scanned.
Make sure you have precheck or clear or expect at least an hour in security line. Food options are better before security.
Wow through security in just over 15 minutes. Not bad for an economy peon with 2 knee replacements. Thanks TSA
