If you like historic "dirt in your eye" bars, you wont be disappointed. It's no secret, so come on a weekday before evening commute. Question: Where does that tendered cash go?

Go here. Drink here. Take in the experience and history. Wishbones on the lamp were left on Thanksgiving by our boys leaving for WWI; the one's that remain are the one's that never returned. Respect.

Established in 1854 (or early 1860s) and operated continuously since, it is the oldest NYC Irish tavern. Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, & JFK have reportedly drank here. Women weren't allowed until 1970.

I hope you like beer. Choose light or dark and ask for "a round." Don't forget the pub-grub. It's simplicity in its finest and tastiest form.

It is said that Abraham Lincoln visited this bar with Peter Cooper after his Cooper Union Address. Operating for over 150 years, this "men only" club opened its doors to women in 1970.

Go to McSorley's and order Dark or Light beer. Have your friend order the other type. They come in sets of two half-pint glasses, so trade a beer with your friend and try both!
