Yes, Ippudo is my top pick for ramen but this is a great neighborhood alternative. Plus, the spicy miso ramen can't be beat.

If you like a bowl that packs a flavor punch, tiny tucked-away Minca is for you. Broth so meaty it's creamy. If these noodles can't fill you up, nothing will. Get sides of kimchi and daikon salad too.

Good ramen, and the chef's special spicy veg broth will make your mouth burn. Ippudo is better, but the wait here is far shorter.

EwFebruary 24, 2013One of the biggest bowls of ramen I've ever had with tons of veggies. The pork is tender and flavorful but I've had better soup.
Many people say Spicy Miso is the best, but I like to keep it simple with the Shoyu ramen. Some of the best in the city.
