- Mia AJune 20, 2016Amazing Korean ramen place with great vegan options!! I had the vegan ramen and dumplings, which even my non-vegan friends thought were amazing.
- Taisiia I.March 7, 2016Nice Korean ramen inside of Chelsea Market. Try kimchi ramen if you like it spicy with an extra poached egg and a bottle of ice cold Korean beer. Yum!
- Ben K.March 26, 2016Awesome Korean ramen spot in Chelsea Market. You must try the ho' cake and spicy tofu noodles.
- Love love love this spot! Korean style ramen, why hasn't anyone done this before? The kimchi and spicy tofu ramen are a must. I need to go back to try every dish!
- Ernesto GutierrezJune 24, 2016Ho cakes were great. The kimchi ramen is spicy and delicious. Add the egg for increased flavor. The pulled pork goes better with this ramen. I do not recommend adding the pork belly to it.
- Hands down, the best Korean comfort food in NYC! The ramen flavors are authentic and clean and you can tell each dish is made with love!
- Omer ZachFebruary 8, 2015Way better than you'd expect a Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant inside a tourist market to be. Share the pickled kale salad to start.
- Ralph LiNovember 1, 2014The ho cakes may be small but well worth it. Ramen is also a delicious choice. Adding a poached egg makes it even better but does cost an additional $2.
- RAugust 30, 2014This place has dedicated seating area past the bar in the back. Really handy if you want to eat somewhere that is both pretty good and has good seating availability (Chelsea Market usually is packed).
- Katie EytchJuly 19, 2016The Ho'cakes are not only fun to order (I mean come on) but have a great fried bread taste with big chunks of pork. Definitely 1 cake is shareable with a friend.
- Dan TomaselliMay 13, 2014Outstanding ramen-ya for those suffering withdrawal after leaving the Orient. The Classic has true tonkotsu broth, the ramen is nicely chewy, and chef is generous with her toppings.
- funky flavorJune 4, 2016How cakes are wesomeeeee, also try any of the sliders they are pretty good. However don't bring big groups and be prepared to be very uncomfortable cause it is s tiny bar style sitting place
- Amy CassDecember 24, 2017I had the vegan dumplings and they were good. You get like 5-6 dumplings per order. They have a bit of spice to them, but not too much. I would have them again.
- Lauren FordNovember 7, 2017I liked the vibe here. They were really successful at creating a ramen house experience. Wasn't crazy about the vegan ramen I picked but I never order the right thing.
- CApril 18, 2015Saucy ramen with bulgogi is tasty. It's a good place to have quick meal. Saucy ramen is better than brothy ramen.
- Olof CarlsonSeptember 1, 2014Black bean noodles, saucy. Kimchi a great add on. Good taste but a piece of pork belly more wouldn't have hurt. Nice staff!
- Matty CitoApril 15, 2016Warmed me up inside and the there was a pile of braised pork in my bowl, will be back to try the rest.
- ChristaJune 28, 2014the classic ramen and ho cakes are a must try! ramen was flavorful, noodles were cooked nicely and the pork was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
- Pramod PaiMay 8, 2015They serve the best al-denté Korean ramen, and delectable ho cakes - pork belly inside a crispy pancake. http://freshnyc.com/korean/korean-ramen-and-ho-cakes-chelsea-market-mokbar
- Ailie ChangJanuary 25, 2015Start off with the Ho' Cakes. Try to Kimchi Ramen with a poached egg. Drink the refreshing seasonal tea! I had the Jujube Apple Cider today.
- Excellent Korean ramen, best enjoyed at the counter. Broth-style go Classic, sauce-style go spicy tofu.
- Ollie MartinAugust 9, 2018The bibimbap is great. Keep the rice for authentic Korean or swap for noodles for Japanese fusion.
- Lindsey KimDecember 30, 2014Get the hot noodles with black bean sauce! It's a magnificent take on a traditional Chinese-Korean dish
- Marjorie CAugust 31, 2015You can't order anything wrong here - especially if you always had a soft poached egg to everything!
- Mike LeeSeptember 23, 2015Classic ramen with Pork belly. Napa Kimchi is amazing, so is the bacon kimchi. Best ramen in all of NYC.
- PavlixOctober 20, 2017Great variety of Korean-ish food. If u like spicy, get the spicy tofu or the spicy ramen and you cannot go wrong.
- Meredith BMay 9, 2015Great service, good spot for a break while shopping, try the chicken ramen and add egg
- Kay TeoMarch 9, 2015The black bean saucy ramen is pretty heavy. The kimchi ramen is good if you're looking for something a little spicy and tangy
- Jess HueyNovember 16, 2015Kimchi ramen and tteokboki is delicious! Bar style seating inside Chelsea market.
- Lori LuoAugust 10, 2014Find inventive Korean takes on a variety of dishes, including the Kimchi Ramen, Disco Fries, and Dukbokki. Majority of seating is at the bar, so be prepared to wait.
- Demetrius BagleyJune 3, 2014They have vegan dumplings and vegan ramen, plus crispy fried rice sticks (kochi) can be made vegan (per Stacy D.)
- CtineDecember 17, 2014The spicy tofu ramen was inedible, way too spicy! The server mentioned it depends on who makes it on how spicy it is (shouldn't the spicy be consistent day to day?).
- The ho cakes are Korean rice pancake but a savory version. Very good. The bulgogi ramen is nice and saucy and classic ramen was just okay.
- Rob BulloughSeptember 2, 2016Don't be fooled by the touristy location, this place is the nails. Killer ramen
- Sara JordanOctober 12, 2014Small and quaint in Chelsea market. Unique Korean twist on ramen. The teas are wonderful!
- Stephanie RosadoJanuary 30, 2015YUM. spicy tofu ramen + braised pork. DELICIOUS. split w/ the bf. both full & content. SO GOOD.
- Roger RJune 5, 2016Absolutely awesome! Get the Ho cakes, Dumplings, and the sliders...then sit back and enjoy!
- Marc MayerJuly 18, 2015If you can swim through the sea of Chelsea Market tourists, you deserve a bowl of noodles as a reward. Get extra napkins.
- Drew KaufmanApril 29, 2014Great pork. Great noodles. The black ramen is too thick and overwhelms all the other flavors. Try a different one.
- Damien Islam-FrenoyNovember 28, 2015Unique Korean twist on Ramen. Also get the rice cakes in brown butter - yummy :-)
- Mike MNovember 1, 2015The kimchi Ramen is out of this world. Don't bother with ippudo. This is the place to go!
