- Eric HinmanApril 11, 2014Hands down, the best restaurant in Galveston. If you're with a large group, call ahead for a reservation so you're guaranteed a table to sit at after you order. Breakfast, lunch, + dinner all amazing!
- Evets XelaMay 1, 2018BBQ pulled pork, slaw with pecan apple slides were very good. Definitely a nice restaurant for a lunch in Galveston TX. Staff was helpful. Pick up a menu and order before sitting down.
- Megan RameyNovember 14, 2017It's a Hidden Gem & Dog friendly on the patio. I got the warm goat cheese salad and also the pumpkin soup. The filet mignon tacos are amazing. Beer on tap & great coffee.
- Joel LuksMarch 30, 2013Dessert shouldn't be an optional course here. Local favs are the lemonade dream cake (enough for 2), lemon bars, peach cobbler and cookies. Dogs are welcome in the patio, too.
- Rachel BaldockJuly 25, 2013The specials are awesome! The quesadilla, turkey sandwich, and Caesar salad are all great choices. Also the desserts come from Patty Cakes which means you have to get something!!
- Myra FearnDecember 18, 2012The shrimp taco is excellent! Plump and flavorful. You can't go wrong with any if the fresh sides, either. I can easily see why it's an island favorite!
- Melissa ThamesMay 24, 2015All the food is super fresh and scratch made. I had the breakfast bowl and I was light, fresh but hearty. I will be back.
- GulfscapesAugust 20, 2011Great omelets and sandwiches. Fresh seafood, too. Just opened a bakery next door called PattyCakes. Had great 1/2 price beer and wine on certain nights. Locally owned - lots of family history.
- Rene HartAugust 27, 2016The food was incredible...great fresh food and awesome combinations. Any of the salads would be the perfect choice. Pulled pork was great
- LauraAugust 20, 2017Definitely recommend the green chile burger. They're burger buns are made from the bakery across the street, which I thought was great!
- Heath HaynesAugust 4, 2013You can't go wrong here. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner are all great. Don't forget to check out Patty Cakes Bakery next door.
- Usually can't complain, love this place but ask for dressing on the side! Forgot to today & salad was drenched in dressing & made the lettuce very wilted. Fried goat cheese was also a little soggy.
- FrankSeptember 18, 2016Super BBQ Pulled Pork und Tuna Sandwich. And a famous tripple chokolade cake.
- Jim CordellDecember 2, 2011The menu offers something for everyone, from soups and simple salads, through more complex and pricey dishes. Atmosphere is casual and friendly.

- Craig ThompsonOctober 14, 2016The Island Slammer with macaroni potato salad was delicious. A bit pricy but this place is great.
- Mike MAugust 15, 2016Best breakfast on the island, all the pastries are made in house. Highly Recommend
- Ernest HillMay 8, 2011Wow. Eggs benedict huge delicious rich, breakfast for two. Excellent, well prepared food, nice interior, perfect breakfast spot. Coffee above average, but nothing special
- Eric MejiaFebruary 15, 2013Ordered the Mosquito Cheeseburger and it's the most delicious burger I've had in a long time and the potatoe salad speechless...
- Ariel ElizabethFebruary 11, 2013The veggie burger was a fail, but the lemon cake was a big win! They have a nice patio and they're super dog friendly.
- NICK SAUMJune 29, 2012Almost Ruben sandwich with macaroni potato salad. $10. Very good but not really worth the price in terms of what you get (size etc)
- Cory GiovanellaAugust 29, 2010Great restaurant offering casual atmosphere, good service & great food. Leave room for dessert b/c they have a wonderful selection. The lemonade cake is delicious.
- Cristina RojasAugust 9, 2014Brunch is amazing, as is everything else on the menu!! Try the meatloaf for example
- Kevin N.July 21, 2013Looks really popular, they have a pitcher of water outside the front door for the line that wraps onto the sidewalk.
- Lylac HellAugust 19, 2013It's good! But, they do have an odd policy of requiring an 18% tip for parties larger than 5. Not unheard of but this is not a sit down restaurant!! Wait in line. Walk up. That makes it an odd policy.
- Nick BlishMay 18, 2012Nice cafe for lunch! St. Arnold's Lawn Mower on tap is good.... Pulled Pork tacos were good! Friendly staff!
- Mindy NghiemMarch 7, 2015Try the Bacon, Green Onion, Potato, And Cheddar Scone - (via @Foodspotting)
- Rachael GassApril 1, 2010Best.Food.Ever. Be sure to get dessert! The owners are bakers and are actually opening up a Bakery across the street! Ask for the Rennicks and tell them that I sent you! :) Read more
- Breanne SAugust 7, 2011The salad with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and figs was amazing! I want to eat it every day.
- Mosquito is one of the top 5 restaurants in Galveston! Everything on the menu is excellent.
- Dawn BledsoeApril 14, 2012The burgers are delish, the salads are divine and they offer vegetarian food too!
- Sandra FoytSeptember 1, 2011Be prepared to box your meal, but don't miss the Warm Goat Cheese Salad with figs and pine nuts, nor the Lemonade Cake.
- NICK SAUMJune 29, 2012Food is good but I always leave hungry. Portion sizes are a bit on the small size while prices are a bit higher than you would expect for what you get.
