- Much improve airport, with variety selections of food and beverages, some last minute souveniers shops are available
- I like this new airport concept , so modern yet still show the cultural side of bali, but the airport tax is quite expensive, for domestic flight is 75,000rp
- Humaizi Al-FikriOctober 1, 2015A lovely airport. To fellow international flight travelers, gate 7, 8, 9 and so forth are quite a walk from the immigration desks. Give yourself extra 10 minutes to walk to those gates.
- The improved airport is great. Clean, many stores and restaurants to choose from. Clear direction to the gate!
- tareq althaherFebruary 14, 2020all good but they have to focus on adding more counters .. it's very hard everytime we go or come to bali that we have to stay 1 hour for boarding even we do on line checking... plz add more counters
- Aidu FAugust 2, 2018They change departure gates quite often here, especially 30min - 45min before boarding time. Stay alert and always check the board for latest information.
- Singapore, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand passports can now go through immigrations via the autogates. Also, there are food options after passing immigration e.g. Two Tigers, Hard Rock Cafe etc.
- LingsSeptember 26, 2013Write a card with your name and destination before coming out of arrival; the hordes of airport transfer staff will overwhelm you. Also, if taking a cab, meter > suggested rates sometimes.
- New domestic airport with shops and cafes. Be mindful with your departing time
- If you have escorted by your tour guide.. Make sure that they are holding the placard under your name.. But if you arrange it by your own.. Use the taxi to transfer to your selected hotel..
- SAADApril 29, 2019The dislike goes for the immigration on arrival! There were 3 officers for over 400 tourist. we were waiting for an hour to pass by. Don’t pay to skip the lines cuz those people are scammers!
- RomanAugust 31, 2019Upon landing go upstairs to level 3 and cross the road to the parking garage (C80) to get a Grab. Avoid local taxis.
- Ross SheingoldNovember 27, 2014Upon entry from a foreign country, be prepared to wait in a really long immigration line. Even Tyra Banks has to wait in the long line, and she doesn't love it!
- Marina YusoffFebruary 5, 2018Nice shops..good.that they let people know when the check in counters are open.
- Nice airport, go for online check in, and you will get fast service
- Immigration lines are punishingly long at DPS for no good reason, like so many tourist spots. You’re better off relaxing + using free WiFi to catch up on email / social media until the lines go down.
- Lovely airport, very cozy and unique one. So Bali!
- LingsSeptember 26, 2013Stop at the right area for departure. Easy to get lost. Also, prep your travel itinerary before going in. Collection of boarding pass is inside the departure area.
- Pro: fast immigration, almost no queue. Con: when departing, the obligated your through the tax free shops. Global: the renovation is a step forward. Please add aircon on the slurf to the plane..
- Recommended to book your taxi early at a hotel for a certain time, not when you are about to leave for the airport as it takes awhile for the taxi to get to the hotel these days.
- Terror RiskApril 21, 2015Having quick lunch here. Airport very spacious and clean with Free WiFi. 👍🏽
- JunakarmaFebruary 18Airport was so cool!! But the custom security check was so tight. They scrutinized everything! Expect a bit longer than usual queue
- If u request uber or grab go level up to departures area coz local taxi drivers don't let uber and grab picking up customers in arrivals. it is annoying but it is Bali. Just take it easy
- ElisaMay 16, 2023On arrival - do yourself a favor and buy the Bali Immigration Fast Track service. You could end up waiting over one hour just to get through immigration. Other than that, departures is a nice exp.
- Grace KMay 25, 2017Go upstairs to the departure drop off area to get a metered Blue Bird taxi . Fare to Legian without traffic was about 70k IDR, much cheaper than what they'll quote you at arrivals hall.
- Good to print out your air ticket, the security will need to check your departure flight before allowing you into the airline check in halls
- When you go in feels like you're not in Bali anymore. Most of the restaurants don't open till 6am. Oh and free wifi!
- pin leeDecember 19, 2013Food options after check in is minimal. Hot dogs & sandwiches. Don't see any full service cafe or restaurants :(. A hot dog (70k to), mineral water (10k).Credit card only usable w minimal spend 100k.
- Yogi SujiwoApril 11, 2013Get a cab in taxi drop off area, it's a bit far but you can get BlueBird there, it's using argoMeter system,so you won't be cheated
- The fix rates of the airport taxi has increased. This year on the price list it says IDR70kto Legian but as usual they add anthr IDR30kon top of that. So my taxi fare to Legian ended up being IDR100k
- Sharifah MadeenSeptember 1, 2014Plenty of restaurants/ cafes with halal logo. ... One of them is Solaria.. has nice ambient
- Katerina VJuly 19, 2016No exit tax needed for European passports. Good idea to have your boarding pass or confirmation email available before entering as they check at the door (before check in counter)
- Remember: u may bring to bali only 1 bottle of alcohol per peson! They will confiscate all your extra alcohol
- Robin HwangJune 29, 2015Check in and then go back out for a decent latte and all day breakfast at the Coffee Club before passing immigration!
- Don't forget buy Pods chocolate Bali for your love one and Hanging out at Kopi 'O because they serve Bintang beer!
- Matt SJuly 7, 2014Decent airport. The wifi is great (super fast!) and the food court has seats with power points as well.
- Sonny RaoJanuary 6, 2016Haven't seen many places to recharge electronics here except the last wave restaurant which has a few seats against a wall with outlets
- International airport with local culture. For muslims, there is a mosque at the 2nd floor (you'd need to check-in) and outside of the airport.
- tiffany wangSeptember 30, 2014Stunning Airport.. it has international design, when we come to here, we can feel oversea sensation but still there are some balinese things
- HotelQuicklyApril 30, 2014Landed on Bali and no hotel booked yet? Up to 70% discount, baby! Use code 4SQHQ for an extra 10% off your (already discounted!) booking through the HotelQuickly app. Read more
- Impressive offering of shopping right after immigration! Branded and duty free items are quite aplenty
- Fatin AzmanJune 26, 2018Very nice airport, currently under construction, pretty confusing but do ask their staffs if there’s anything you are not sure about
- June LimSeptember 19, 2015Do enter into the departure hall for more great meals before flying - Hard Rock Cafe, black canyon, last waves, Haagen Dazs and many more!
- Wil SkinnerSeptember 29, 2014SIM card 200k at arrivals- 5.5 gb internet. If there's more than one of you travelling have one wait in line for paying for the visas(with passports) while the other waits in the immigration que.
- Robert WongFebruary 16, 2013You want a guy that's not gonna rip you off then I'm recommending "Made" he is great, attentive and not a con artist like some dubious taxi drivers I have encountered.
- Pawel SokolowskiJuly 11, 2015If you need a taxi after arrival go directly to departures (top floor) and use one of Blue Bird Group meter taxis dropping off passengers as they are not allowed to pick up anyone from arrival.
