If you need a taxi after arrival go directly to departures (top floor) and use one of Blue Bird Group meter taxis dropping off passengers as they are not allowed to pick up anyone from arrival.

I like this new airport concept , so modern yet still show the cultural side of bali, but the airport tax is quite expensive, for domestic flight is 75,000rp

Average size for an international airport.Arrival hall quite traditional and old.Departure hall is very modern and new layout.Plenty of food!!High end shops at departure hall area.

Call bluebird taxi in this number for using taxi with argometer +361701111 however they're not allowed to get inside the airport, so must walk for a little bit by the deal with the operator

Love this airport, they really made sure to reflect their culture on the architecture design. It also has good food options.

Spent my waiting time at the TG Lounge. The airport is not too big, but there are some good restaurants to enjoy good meal.

Buy souvenirs outside as the prices in the airport can be 2-3times. The best place is Agung Bali and Kumbawaty in Sunset Rd. Same stuff sold in Kuta Market without having to haggle the price.

Watch the traffic situation if you need to get to the airport. Better to be early than late - at least 3 hrs before your flight and do prebook your transport to the airport.

When visiting bali, make sure you only use "blue bird taxi" . Never use "bali taxi". The first one is a reputable and well-known taxi whilst the second one is scammed taxi.

Immigration lines are punishingly long at DPS for no good reason, like so many tourist spots. You’re better off relaxing + using free WiFi to catch up on email / social media until the lines go down.

Pro: fast immigration, almost no queue. Con: when departing, the obligated your through the tax free shops. Global: the renovation is a step forward. Please add aircon on the slurf to the plane..

Blue Bird taxi from Legian to airport (with minimal traffic around 7:45-8:00 am) costs about IDR55,000. Note that there is also a departure tax of IDR150,000 after you clear immigration.

The fix rates of the airport taxi has increased. This year on the price list it says IDR70kto Legian but as usual they add anthr IDR30kon top of that. So my taxi fare to Legian ended up being IDR100k

Print your ticket. They are asking for it at the entrance before check in. Before leaving, you have to IDR 150000 /person for airport service charge. Get to the airport early as possible.

A lovely airport. To fellow international flight travelers, gate 7, 8, 9 and so forth are quite a walk from the immigration desks. Give yourself extra 10 minutes to walk to those gates.

You won't find much for $1. Rp10,000 buys a pudding at the supermarket. Cup of coffee is Rp40,000=$3. Enjoy.

There’s a luggage storage facilities just across from Burger King on mezzanine level but they accept cash only. As of 01/25, it starts from Rp75k for small (up to 10kg) piece.

You have to pay a tax before leaving Bali. There's a checkpoint you can't exit once you have checked in at your airline, so go to the shops or the cafes beforehand if you have enough time

The taxi queue for arriving flights can be lengthy. Though they look shady, the non official taxi hawkers next to the stand are safe and charge the same price. Less wait, more holiday 👍🏻

Checkin process is very efficient. 10 mins to get to the airside. Loads of people complained about the process here and on tripadvisor. Well, they are wrong.

Warning!Grab drivers fraud. You request for grab/uber and driver texts you to come to domestic parking C or G. When u come there they will tell u pay with cash and double price. Don’t go there.

Don’t forget to fill out and submit the online customs declaration before arrival. You will get a QR code that you need to scan at customs at the airport before exit.

SIM card 200k at arrivals- 5.5 gb internet. If there's more than one of you travelling have one wait in line for paying for the visas(with passports) while the other waits in the immigration que.

Stop at the right area for departure. Easy to get lost. Also, prep your travel itinerary before going in. Collection of boarding pass is inside the departure area.

Be very careful of the gypsy taxi. Use the official airport taxi or ask the hotel to arrange the pick up service.. cost u about idr 150k but its worth it..
