You want a guy that's not gonna rip you off then I'm recommending "Made" he is great, attentive and not a con artist like some dubious taxi drivers I have encountered.
WARNING: Please leave your Bintang tees and singlets in Bali. Anyone in Australia caught wearing Bintang will have their Centrelink payments cut immediately.
Write a card with your name and destination before coming out of arrival; the hordes of airport transfer staff will overwhelm you. Also, if taking a cab, meter > suggested rates sometimes.
As the airport is under renovation, allocate more time fr ur hotel b4 departure. they change the drop off point n the domestic departure gate: it's quite far away & the walking take time.
Don't get conned by airporttaxi. Step out, walk across the parking lot, turn right, walk straight out of the main exit. Hail a Bali Taxi( Light blue, bluebird sign). Cheaper. Honest. 5000 flag down.
On arrival - do yourself a favor and buy the Bali Immigration Fast Track service. You could end up waiting over one hour just to get through immigration. Other than that, departures is a nice exp.
Where I am on Legian, the taxi desk considers as Seminyak. Official rate on the board is IDR110,000 but they charge IDR150,000. Normal Bluebird taxi from the hotel to airport only costs abt IDR72,000.
Don't take airporttaxi, better use Gocar or Indrive, to get you to hotel. Price difference is huge. Airporttaxi Rp200-300,000, vs online car for 80-90 thousand rupiah. Be smart not to get scammed.
The exit at international arrival hall is just super messy not comfortable at all after long flight with taxi counter long queue and shop took space that's supposed to be for passengers
Two Tigers at departure food hall serves sushi & noodles. Both were disappointing. Kitchen uses too much sauce in their noodles. My ramensoup was just salty water. Their California roll was bland
Food options after check in is minimal. Hot dogs & sandwiches. Don't see any full service cafe or restaurants :(. A hot dog (70k to), mineral water (10k).Credit card only usable w minimal spend 100k.
i used domestic flight, it is not so bad....less people and no long queue... The smoking area is on the top, nearby gate 5-6. it is so hot...need cooler....
Grab and Uber not allowed at Arrivals pick-up. Meet your driver at Departures on 3rd floor instead. Do not take airporttaxi as it’s ridiculously overpriced (multiple times more costly).
wheelchair service sux. you're expected to walk all d way to the airline counter and only then will they provide u with a wheelchair! if u can walk there, u wouldnt ask for one...
Sometimes for the announcement of any delays or changing gates and etc.... are not really clear announced. So open your ears widely, and good luck...;) (ps: try to listen to every announcement...) :p
Small airport if u compare with soekarno hatta airport in jakarta :D but u can feel different taste,, I wanna cry, when I leave this place,, I will leaving this place with million memories in bali,,
Another airport built but mismanaged. Built by Singapore Airport and chaotically managed. The worst part is the taxi stand, you'll get 50 taxi drivers running at you w/ scams. They should ban. 6/10
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), also known as Denpasar International Airport, is located in southern Bali, 13 km south of Denpasar. It is Indonesia's third-busiest international airport.
