Beautiful contemporary museum in the heart of the city. Go up to experience magnificent views of Tokyo and if you're lucky on a clear day, may even get to see Mount Fuji!
I know everyone says get the Tsukemen (aka: noodles on the side) but I enjoyed the ramen much more (one of my favs from our trip).
A little off-the-beaten path but great spot to find clothes you'd find the cool kids in Japan wearing. If I had a bigger suitcase I would have bought more. Rad jackets.
design, style & pose of this place so perfect almost painful. From the king-fu beards of the baristas to vintage marantz stereo playing classic soul ( slightly obscure). Coffee super food looks great
Everyone who has gone to Tokyo has told me that this pizza is stellar. They are not wrong. Living in NYC we get tons of great pizza but man, this is maybe the best I've ever had. Get the Margherita.
absolutely delicious tonkatsu. lunch set which includes rice, miso soup, & tsukemono (pickles) is +¥200. the staff are very attentive & speak english. the restaurant is cozy & the seating is so cute.
Brand new SPG high-rise, with stunning views and well-appointed rooms. Location is great because it’s near many Subway lines, and centrally-located. There’s a great coffee shop in the complex.

This guy decided open a bar to share his 10k records. He runs 2 Thorens turntables to 2 Altec speaker cabinets, either side of the back door. 6 nights, 2-11 but stays as long as people want to enjoy<3
Not much different from Mikkeller bars in Copenhagen or Stockholm, but that’s not a bad thing. If you tire of light Japanese beers, you can get your craft beer fix here.
Welcome coffee/espresso fix, better than the Dean & Deluca downstairs. The lattes have too much milk for my taste, but you can get a smaller to-go latte, or just have them add a shot.

Yakitori street eats at its best! There are many small izakayas and we went to the first one in the first alley. We spent around ¥3600 for two but one order of two sticks cost around ¥500.
THE ONLY bar for Japanese whiskey. Really cool spot, hard to find, but worth the search, you wont want to leave. Tons of Japanese whiskey and other liquors.

Get here well before 4:30am to see the tuna auctions. Note: Trains don't run at this time + they only take a limited amount of people so getting here earlier is better. Once in a lifetime experience!

This is a hidden gem! Tucked away behind expensive shops; there is this little food court with food trucks, craft beers, music, benches and friendly people.
Great scene inside with selected music playing from their vinyl library. No English menus. $8 cover charge but at least there are snacks. It's a quiet and camera free zone.
My go-to ramen place in Tokyo, come hungry and with time to spare for tori paitan chicken broth ramen. Skip the 2 hour line at their above ground location, this subway spot is a better kept secret.
