- MerakiAugust 9, 2014Love it here, so welcoming like a piece of Cuba in Durham and the employees dancing with the customers makes it even better.
- El Caney is great. There's a dude carving meat in the back. Your sandwich only comes with 2 maduros (plantains), so get an extra side of maduros if you're hungry.
- Jon SchwartzJanuary 6, 2016Everything's good, but Cuban style pork, black beans, Cuban coffee, and the hot sauce on the table are my faves.
- MarionSeptember 2, 2017Everything on their menu is delicious. My brunch fave is the El Campesino - fried cured pork belly.
- Excellent sandwiches. You are allowed to park across the street in the social services lot on Saturday. Don't forget they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
- KaitlinOctober 22, 2016Get the El Caney. It's almost a traditional Cuban, but the avocado adds a nice creaminess.
- Bob FortnerJuly 25, 2015The Havana with a side of Maduros. Been waiting all week for this. Totally worth it!!
- Beth KuehnertNovember 7, 2014Great spot for lunch. The food is delicious and the service remarkable. Cannot recommend enough.
- Jordan GrosecloseJanuary 26, 2015Not only the best Cuban spot in Durham, but nearly the best sandwiches regardless of type.
- Andrew TurnbullMarch 15, 2014Awesome place! I always leave wishing I had room to eat more, it's that good.
- They are open on Sundays for brunch and like everything else they serve, it's Amazing!!
- Mandy SteinhardtMarch 7, 2013Sandwiches are good and all, but I prefer to get the pork plate and maduros and go all at it.
- Luncheon plate is the right size and the right price for a quick, but quality lunch.
- Kendra M.August 16, 2014Pretty good sandwiches but wish there were more options. Still love it though!
- The only proper response to "Would you like pork drizzlings on your rice?" is "Si!"
- Great Cuban food, ambience, and dancing first Saturday โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
