- Bit of party hotel at weekends. Cheap, small rooms with very little noise (or heat) insulation. The building has an interesting history.
- Awesome place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is good and rooms are clean.
- Hugh FlouchSeptember 22, 2011Pretty good value for £34. Wifi only on ground, 1st & 2nd floors. Park facing rooms the quietest. Food perfectly okay. Fascinating history.
- Charlotte Frejya-RichwoodsFebruary 3, 2015Budget hotel in need of renovation. Heating underpowered for high ceilings. 1st room had draught, next room had missing curtain, both had mould on bathroom ceiling. Staff nice but i won't go again
- Annie BannisterJune 15, 2012Mmm don't walk on the carpet in bare feet - bed fine no light in bathroom bit if a problem as there's no window in there. Went for a run around the park next door
- Dan AllenApril 14, 2012No main light in room, just desk lamp and two bedside lamps ;( one power socket proving an issue along with the damp smell
- Dan AllenApril 14, 2012Bit dated, only one plug socket in the room which made charging laptop and phones tricky. Wifi only on 3 of the 4 floors
- PaulJune 15, 2012Wifi a waste of time. I have stayed in nicer youth hostels. My tip is don't bother unless you can get it for less than £20 a night
- Ravi JassalNovember 15, 2015Nothing special. Cheap & reliable, especially for last minute reservations i.e after a night out
- Bilge K.O.February 21, 2014Poor lightening, just 2 beside lamps and one for room. The room's clean but bed is too soft like a jelly.
