- RoadretroDecember 27, 2011Great neighborhood spot; food diner typical but a great stop when walking dogs, they can sit outside (when the weather is good)!
- Ross GuthrieSeptember 7, 2013I do wish that creativity of the bartenders be harnessed by putting their fantastic creations on a menu. One can have something excellent one time, but never be able to get it again...
- Khari SheltonNovember 3, 2019a cute lil local spot for breakfast. tip: pancakes are HUGE. you can order the stack of 3 and split them between 2 people and be fully satisfied. we each got the egg special and split 3 pancakes.
- Larry HallJuly 22, 2012Get here early. 2 tops are easy to sit. The French toast is delectable but there are plenty of other goodies. The red ad white checkered table clothes give this place a Paula D. feel.
- Time Out ChicagoAugust 2, 2014The portions are as big as the personality of this breakfast-and-lunch institution that’s packed with tchotchkes and mismatched chairs. Read more
- ShycuOctober 19, 2015Cutest breakfast place ever. Fresh squeezed orange juice is a must have. Love at first sip.
- Best neighborhood breakfast spot. Large portions of delicious food. Feels like you're having breakfast at grandma's house. Try every omelette. They're fantastic.
- Come for breakfast, omelettes and Benedicts in particular are great.
- Albert EllenichMarch 21, 2010Great neighborhood place. Always accomodating. Often serving free juice or coffee when there's a wait for tables. I almost always have Jackie as my waitress...treats you like personal friends. Nice.
- Alan KercinikMarch 28, 2010Total dive place for breakfast. Delicious. If you're debating breakfast meats, get the ham. Might be best in city.
- Pancakes are overly cakelike, but the f toast is delicious. At busy times the waitstaff is non existent and the owner is a tyrant, making the atmosphere unbearable. I suggest Tweet or Ann Sather.
- The food is good and well priced. The atmosphere is really welcoming.
- Ed KaczmarekSeptember 6, 2010Amazing eats in this cozy neighborhood place. French Toast is a delight.

- Leah EstradaMay 27, 2013After being seated first four other parties were seated and got their food before us. Then I had to wait 20 minutes for just a cup of coffee. Horrible service.
