- If you eat the garlic noodles here, you will be transported into an unwavering limbo of sensual climax. After you've changed your pants, you can then walk out with a sigh of relief.Upvoted 6 days ago
- Chip MorelandMay 19, 2015Excellent. Different experience than I read. Service polite & attentive. Garlic noodles were good but not hype worthy. Vermecelli - perfect ratio of noodles to greens. Best I've had in the city yet.
- Vermicelli bowls are delicious. Yes, the service can be abrupt. The male server was actually on the phone on his Bluetooth while delivering my check. Doesn't stop me from coming in for a noodle fix!
- Peter RuzevichDecember 29, 2017Vermicelli bowl with charbroiled pork was amazing. Imperial rolls were not my favorite but still good! Fast, friendly service.
- spauldingJanuary 14, 2013The veggie combo pho is so clean and pho-king delicious. Kind of hard to screw up a Thai ice tea, but of the ones I've had in SF, Perilla's is spot on.
- Venus LuxMay 1, 2014@Venus_Lux: One of my fav Vietnamese restaurants to go to before or after a nice stroll In golden gate park (next door)
- Janina LieserFebruary 15, 2016If you re waiting I the queue for yummy yummy, come here instead. Amazing food, nicer inside and not as busy
- Jess MireauOctober 25, 2015Garlic noodles are ok, but the vermicelli noodles are pretty great. Had it with the shrimp and imperial rolls.
- Good food but a little on the pricey side for Vietnamese food. Sandy's New Deli around the corner is more affordable and the food is just as good if not better. Perilla has more seating however.
- Kelly 🍰August 29, 2012Garlic noodles may be better than Crustacean/An the go. There's better pho elsewhere but they do have a free range chicken broth that's always sold out
- Get the pho and extra plate of rare beef!! Add cooked bean sprouts and sprinkle on crushed mint leaves.
- Hirokazu SatoMarch 22, 2011I ordered the Pho and a side of Garlic Noodles. The Garlic Noodles blew the Pho outta the water. Go with the Garlic Noodles
- Aishwarya RaghavanApril 20, 2019The vegetarian food had an overuse of cabbage. Reminded me of the book 1984. And not in a good way
- JennySeptember 30, 2014It's not something to call home about, but it's definitely not bad. The garlic noodles are really good.
- Service here is hit or miss. The woman w the bob isn't very hospitable and seems to wear a permanent frown. The man who works the register is friendly if you know how to interact w him.
- Their spring rolls with shrimp are some of the freshest I've ever tasted.
- Nichelle SolisJune 21, 2012Good food, bad service. Bf ordered no ice in his drink so it was only 1/2 filled and when he asked to fill it to the top he was told he'd be charged for another cuz "that's where the ice would go".
- JP BouvierAugust 4, 2011Went with the pho, it was good but not great. Next time im trying the garlic noodles!
- It's all about the GARLIC NOODLES. Don't come here an not try the GARLIC NOODLES.
- BommyJanuary 24, 2015Gross. Garlic noodles are dry and gummy while the 5-spice chicken is fatty and greasy. Seriously, don't come here.
- Service is more terrible than ever and the food isn't good enough to put up with the horrible service!
- Nichelle SolisJune 21, 2012The man at the register was incredibly rude to me and my boyfriend. They lost frequent and loyal customers. We will never go here again. Rude.
