One of the few places in Trastevere that hasn't changes for tourists. Just simple, unpretentious Roman pizza and antipasti. Make sure to try your olive all'ascolana.

Some of the best ice cream in Greece. The several locations around town are all excellent, but making the trek down to the original is well worth it.
My favorite of the Krog Street Market. Excellent hot chicken, and if the mac and cheese is available, order it.
Seinfeld hype aside, this is an excellent local diner. Great place to sit at the bar with a cup of coffee and the newspaper
