We love to go to here as our local restaurant. The outside seating is very nice. The food is very good and the Appetizers at Happy Hour are a great deal as well as the specials.
My recent visit had the Red Snapper special... fantastic. I try something different each time I go and always scrumptious! If unsure what to get, ask your server.. they haven't steered me wrong yet.
Great wings on wing night or any night. 1/2 on Mondays. I like the traditional Hot Buffalo the best but Thai Chili is a close second. By the way these are whole wings and not the mini ones.
Love the Veal Piccata and the Wedge Salad. Oh, and the Osso Buco. Most meals are great, but you'll occasionally get a dud. Ask for suggestions if you're unsure.
My family came down from Syracuse for Thanksgiving, and were all turkeyed out. They were looking for a fine dining experience and Italian food that tops the restaurants in Syracuse and Utica.
The food was amazing. I absolutely love the gnocci and Italian sausage dish. The sauce is fabulous! This restaurant just keeps doing all the right things! Congratulations to the Roman Bistro!!!!!!
The porkosso buco will certainly bring me back. Good atmosphere as well; casual dining with TVs everywhere in the front bar area and a nice quite dining room in the back.
Very good selection of beer, with proper glassware, reasonably priced for HH (5-7pm) and knowledgeablefriendly barstaff. Flatbread and hummus were great.
We overlooked the somewhat impatient waitress, but what broke us was the NY strip steak that came back again and again as well done, when ordered it medium rare. Others seemed to enjoy their meals.
Horrible service. Completely overpriced. Wants to be fancy but also neighborhood hangout - it's neither. Food was really only decent too. Might try lunch specials but not going for dinner again.
