This place is a popular spot so don't come too hungry. I recommend the Texas Size donut or a dozen plain glazed. Yes, they are supposed to be yellow! Happy eating :)

Everything I tried was good, so I expect the many other items on their menu are just as delicious. The pic below shows the size of one of their huge donuts. They have smaller ones! :)

This local institution has crazy lines but they move really fast and efficiently. The yeast and cake donuts are both great. Loved the maple glaze. Different type of dough in both….something unique

Honestly, just go for the plain and original, glazed doughnuts. Though simple, it's definitely a flavour you won't get tired of so easily. :3

I am particularly fond of the jelly donut yet the chocolate cake is good as is the apple fritters in fact I am sure everything is good based on the lines in the drive thru. Service inside is faster

I like to get the Texas sized donut from my Birthday. For those days when it's not my b-day the jalapeno sausage with a donut (any flavor) is a fantastic way to start a happy day.

Surely you've heard of the world famous Lonestar bakery. Home of the Round Rock Donut, covered in its famous orange glaze. Beware of the Texas Size Donut, it will take you all day to finish.

Adam Richman of Travel Channel's Man vs. Food selected this place as on of the best of the best in Austin. Although it's about 15 miles outside of downtown Austin - it is very much worth the drive.

If you're able to resist eating the donuts as soon as you get them, they hold up well the next morning and still taste amazing! Best donuts in Texas!

The plain Round Rock glazed donuts are the best donuts around. Chocolate is okay but a bit overwhelming. The Texas sized donut is about 8 regular donuts but is more like a cake than a donut.

Get the "Texas Sized" donut- it's as big as your head. Bonus: their "normal" sized donuts are priced similarly (if not cheaper) than chain stores!
