- Spoon UniversityJuly 18, 2017I recommend the yogurt trio appetizer and the Mirza Ghasemi dip, which is smoked eggplant with tomato and garlic. For the main course, I suggest either the roasted salmon or the shish kabob. Read moreUpvoted Nov 18
- As someone who grew up on Persian food, this place is as good as it gets. Their Chilean sea bass is one of the best that I've ever had and is very generously portioned. A must try.
- Deborah ShakarJanuary 27, 2017We loved the Shrimp, the meatballs, always a nice surprise of flavor blends on each entree choice. Every time we eat at Rumi's we're happy with our choices. One of my favorite restaurants close by!
- Alexandre MunhozJanuary 23, 2022Beautiful place, fantastic service, outstanding food and very good cocktails. Hard to find a restaurant with such combination these days! Thumbs up for Rumi’s!
- Drew ManciniSeptember 14, 2020Everything was fantastic. Food, drinks, service...we asked our server what her favorites were and she didn't steer us wrong. The lamb was so tender and the rices were top notch.
- Have been to Rumi's numerous times, which means I like the place. For me, the best item on the menu is the ground beef koobideh. Very simple, but sublime. Start the meal off some Kashk Badenjoon.
- Meghana BendreNovember 12, 2013Be prepared to wait even with a reservation on a weekend night. Food is worth the wait. We just had small plates and they were all good. Lamb sliders are the best! Dolmeh has a unique tangy flavor.
- Susan LeeFebruary 15, 2015Special fixed menu for Valentine's Day. Ordered cumin carrot soup and got tomato. Hubby ordered kale and date salad and got arugula with almonds. The lesson here is come early
- Andre B.December 16, 2012New location is very nice. Get the filet or salmon. Absolutely the best! Very nice atmosphere. Staff is nice. Valet is tight fit but pretty quick. Oh yeah. Get the filet or salmon. Trust me!
- EaterJuly 9, 2013Although Rumi's Kitchen has moved into a new space, the restaurant's top-notch Persian food remains just as good as before. [Eater 38 Member]
- Everything is delicious - dips and spreads, shrimp kabobs, chicken brag. Get the Orange and almond rice. Portions are huge - can easily split main courses.
- Joy ChenAugust 2, 2013Great food/experience, amazing service. Ask for the appetizer sampler and try the various yogurts and eggplant dishes with the bread (which is delicious by itself).
- Earl Belcher JrMarch 10, 2018So glad I found this place. Love Persian food and this stuff is spot on.
- Super DadNovember 4, 2022Fantastic Food!!! Lamb was the absolute best!!! Definitely try the Shirin rice (citrus goodness) with your meal… So yummy!!!
- Chris DixonApril 30, 2016Great food, and service. Everything was perfect. Just be warned the price is a little higher that $$, but it is worth it.

- Mona AhdNovember 28, 2018Great atmosphere and fun decor, food could use some improvement but overall a great experience
- Tammy MJanuary 26, 2012If you're not the biggest fan of this food, try the Chinjeh kabob - steak, bread and a yummy "non weird" yogurt dip. Great for picky eaters!
- Lashondra ThorneSeptember 20, 2016Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! Very professional and friendly staff!
- Steve FinchNovember 18, 2013Nicely decorated, tasty food. Probably a little pricier than your normal fare, but worth it.
- Deidre ComanFebruary 15, 2015Second Valentine's dinner here and they keep outdoing themselves. The lamb was the best ever.
- Teresita MMay 13, 2023This is not a kids friendly place. Staff seemed upset as we arrived with two small kids. They seated us in the back room in a high table despite we asked in the reservation and there for else.
- MVineyardsAugust 3, 2010Recommend salad sampler and split an entree. Salads (epecially 2 eggplant dishes) out of this world. I spent 7 years in Middle East. This is good.
- Dino PeroneSeptember 5, 2013Was a little disappointed with the chicken barg which was supposed to be spicy... ah no. They do have a chili pepper condiment sauce that upped the hot factor though. Still recommend!
