- Eric SabbanApril 8, 2017Go for the Sharks, stay for the blood. Fun fact: they usually top regular season but totally blow it in post. I go every chance I can from SF, and get second row seats for my birthday. Check🏒🥅Upvoted Nov 2
- ESPNMarch 20, 2013The "Shark Tank" hosted UCLA & Kansas in a 2007 Elite 8 match-up that featured 10 current NBA players. Among them were Oklahoma City star Russell Westbrook as well as NBA champion Mario Chalmers.

- Get here EARLY to have the best chance at Giveaways and On-Ice competitor selection. Also, happy hour is the hour prior to warmups (30-90 minutes prior to game time)
- San Jose Mercury NewsMarch 19, 2013Hello NCAA fans. Looking for fun things to do? Take a trip to Santana Row, 5 miles west of downtown. It's a faux-European village, and electric automaker Tesla has a popular demo-store there. Read more
- Michelle WuFebruary 28, 2015Get the fancy nachos with meat and then hop next door for the crappy nacho cheese to pour over.
- GoWest Choice HotelsMay 8, 2012One of the best venues to catch the many events that take place in the South Bay. This place has great concerts, shows, and is the home of the San Jose Sharks ice hockey team. Go Sharks!
- The Farmers UnionSeptember 19, 2014Such a wonderful venue to enjoy the entertainment that our city has to offer! We love hosting guests before and after their experiences at SAP! - The Farmers Union

- From the San Jose Sharks & giant music acts to Ringling Brothers & Cirque du Soleil, this 17,000+ seat stadium transforms from Shark Tank to rock concert in hours. Easy access to public transport.
- Brittany NielsenOctober 18, 2014Try the "Sharkarita" while you're at a game. Nice arena, very clean. Fans are die hard and hilarious. Go Sharks!
- One of the few places in the Bay Area where Mötley Crüe will come up on the play list, a San Jose Sharks game.
- The home of the San Jose Sharks! during the playoffs, the atmosphere inside is electric! Head down Santa Clara St. for a bar to watch the game if you don't get tickets.
- Section 117, Row 2. Seats 1&2! Yep, a little spoiled but that's what season tickets are for. Go Sharks!
- Great parking, friendly professional staff. But bring food unless hot dogs and popcorn are enough for you.
- Vivian WuSeptember 8, 2011Really liked coming to a concert here. Super clean, good food selection, $15 for a jalapeno sausage dog, onion rings and bottled water. Helpful ushers. Parking expensive.
- You gotta admit, the Shark Tank looks amazing at night, engulfed in lights.
- Fun and exciting place to spend time with family whether its a sporting event, concert.
- Emil SayadJune 21, 2011Very clean establishment with helpful staff. The stadium is also huge with awesome sound and lighting, i've always enjoyed watching concerts here Read more
- Great venue for sporting events and concerts. Easy access from highway. Ample parking.
- Shelly JJuly 15, 2016The sound was great for a concert. However, there is zero leg room so if people have to get in and out of the rows, it's super annoying. More importantly, the safety risk of that layout is horrendous.
- Get the Nachos! You can bring water as long as it's unopened for bag check.
- SHARKS! if you want to try and get autographs, wait at the back at the players entrance. but get there early because there's not a lot of room. :)
- It’s my tradition to come here for rooting my favorite team Islanders from east coast
- Please be considerate of those behind you and avoid leaning forward so everybody can enjoy the game. :)
- Rob RayFebruary 4, 2012While expensive, getting some seats right on the glass for a Sharks game is one of the best experiences ever. Also, tons of big name shows come through.
- JasonMarch 19, 2017Get here at least an hour early to park on Santa Clara (and save some money on parking).
- NHLOctober 5, 2010Survival Tip: Every time the Sharks are on the power-play, the "Jaws" theme is played. Make sure to move your hands up and down like jaws chomping with the rest of the fans.
- Mark ThompsonAugust 24, 2014Even if you don't know hockey, a trip to the Sharks is well worth the experience
- Brian IbarraOctober 27, 2015An awesome venue bigger than oracle but great acoustics just make sure u take another car don't drive traffic is horrible
- Tina NguyenMay 14, 2014Wtf? This is the SAP Center in dtSJ, NOT a chiropractor's office! Pretty sure thousands of ppl didn't attend concerts and Sharks games at a chiropractor's.... Get your shit together, foursquare!
- Eric ChaingNovember 23, 2015Went for IEM San Jose the food in the stadium is extremely expensive but you can play Hearthstone for food if you're good at that or you could just walk 10 minutes for subways
- When u are in ur seat there isnt a better arena. When they built the arena they didnt think of 1 thing. There is only 1 concourse. Upper deck and lower deck lead to the same concourse. Way 2 crowded.
- Dawn EerOctober 16, 201110/15 it's Worcester vs Worcester. San Jose AHL/farm team is in Worcester, St. Louis AHL/farm WAS in Worcester. GO SHARKS!
- Saarah NajiebAugust 8, 2018Good concession stands, clear signs for directions and seat sections. Good lighting.
- Greg VOctober 13, 2013Gordon Biersch Märzen.Very smooth with a caramel malt aftertaste ...oh yeah: Go Sharks!
- Sharks games are fun, sit in the lower level if you can afford it.
- Sean is incorrect in his tip there is a mid concourse with bars and restaurants
- Chuck RingoringoMay 23, 2013The building is really small. There's only two levels, and each section has at most 30 rows (which even that is a bit of a stretch). I don't see how you can fit 17,000+ in there.
- ESPNOctober 19, 2011If the HP Pavilion’s foundation pilings were stacked end-to-end, they would be 2.5x taller than Mount Everest, or roughly the same size as Brent Burns on skates.
- The garlic fries! Yum! They go well with the Sharks leading!
