- Ejay SantanaNovember 15, 2013Had my Bday party here! The food was very filling, the ambiance very inviting, the crowd very fun... I recommend doing parties here for sure, pernil and trifongo rocked it! Just like back home at PR!
- Mike NelsonJune 28, 2013Order the Pernil ($21 lunch $23 dinner) and share it. The best pernil I've ever had, Boriqua or Cubano. It's easily enough for 2 people, have the second person order their own side or a salad & share.
- Wildary CepedaNovember 22, 2013I ordered the Chicken Jibaritos. It was DELICIOUS!! I literally ate the whole plate. And the service is also really good.. Prices don't match with the place, it's pretty CHEAP and FANCY restaurant.
- Shelby HirschbergFebruary 19, 2017Great atmosphere, great food (the pernil is amazing and great to split). Dinner dress code. No hoodies, sweat pants, tank tops or hats. No happy hour on weekends
- Arleine GarciaSeptember 25, 2014Pernil & chicken mofongo was perfection!!! I was seated right away and the waiters were so nice :) definitely coming again
- WaleskaDecember 24, 2012Great service, delicious food and they topped our table of 7 with shots of delicious coquito. The lower level has several sayings painted on the wall by De La Vega.
- Jonathan BrandonJuly 9, 2015Had a great dinner. Tilapia with a sauce wrapped in a banana skin... honestly is was great. The atmosphere was a lot of fun, however our waiter wasn't the most attentive.
- MrsCorksterFebruary 25, 2015Yummy tostones with bacalao and attentive wait staff makes this a great happy hour choice after work. Schmaltzy decor notwithstanding.
- Joan ParkAugust 13, 2014Out of all the mofongo I've tried in the city, Sazon's is the best. Their paella is bomb too.
- The pernil is to die for and feeds 2 also for desert 3 leches and flan are great yummmm love this place music is good have some red wine with the pernil

- Mealsy79May 17, 2013Surprising little after work place. Downstairs there's a DJ on Thursdays playing a mix of reggae, Latin and popular music. Bar is a bit slow.
- Richard RevillaOctober 14, 2012Ok so I have Pernil for a week. Huge portion it like 1/3 of the animal. Seems to be everyone's Birthday. Decent food and decent atmosphere. It's worth it.
- Carli DJuly 15, 2016Great happy hour specials - for food and drinks. Try the sangria and nachos with plantains.
- WandaJune 23, 2013Nice place for a birthday celebration. Tell them when you call for a reservation and they will bring a flan and sing happy birthday.

- Matt RuizMarch 3, 2013Make reservations, even if you do make sure your there 15 minutes early because you could end up waiting an hour + if you miss your reservation
- The mojitos are LETHAL. For $5 during happy hour (plus $1 shrimp empanadas), it's a downtown steal.
- Lauren PazcoogieOctober 13, 2011Pernil x sangria = yum. Mofongo was eh. Great ambiance. Also.. who's the house DJ?! I have a crush on him, best mixes ever
- Sally DuForeOctober 13, 2015They need better lighting going down to bathrooms and to the lounge area. Took a terrible fall there, the staff was very nice and helpful ., it ruined my day. I was so looking forward to my dinner .
- Happy hour has changed. They increased empanadas to $2 and happy hour drinks are $6. 😢
- Delicious puerto rican food and great staff that makes you feel like family. get the peril, it's like getting hugged by a big hunk of pork.
- Eelain SteketeeJanuary 14, 2011it's a special occasion destination in the city for the bronx ricans.. if that's your scene, pair it with pernil and/or the sazon paella.
- César PérezAugust 24, 2010Try the empanada trio as an appetizer. They're incredible. Try not to get annoyed at the 3,000 birthday tables sitting around you though.
- Adrienne CalamananJune 19, 2011Portions are ridiculously huge so be prepared! Also be prepared for at least 10 birthday song greetings :p
