- What's with all the complaints about no valet? The parkade is across the street.. No one should be that lazy. Great service and friendly staff, one of my favourite stays for business trips!
- Cindia GSeptember 29, 2012Do the "green choice" for a $5 gift certificate off food in hotel. Great for room service. Get the turndown service every night for bed made and fresh towels.
- If you're SPG, use the $5 choice cards for 500 points. Between that and your welcome amenity, you're looking at 1500-2000 bonus points per week (assuming 3-4 night stay).
- There are some pretty awesome suites at the Sheraton that you won't find at other area hotels.
- Dave CAugust 1, 2013Get a room with an odd room number. The rooms with even numbers face out onto Salisbury and you a get some noise from the nearby Red Hat Amphitheater.
- As a SPG, you get points or free WiFi. Once you stay one time, always get the points and your devices will still be active on the WiFi.
- Ginger YanceyApril 28, 2013Centro Mexican restaurant with a Columbian flare is about 2 to 3 blocks out back! A must visit!
- Natalie EdmondsonNovember 12, 201060 restaurants and bars within walking distance. Try The Oxford a great gastropub for good food and brew
- Amanda KaufmanAugust 5, 2014Not the best I've stayed at in Raleigh. Bizarre metal chair at the "desk" (bench worktop without outlets or ability to connect), poor sealed windows, old everything... And a tiny gym. Needs upgrades!
- Small but nice. Treadmills have iPod docks, free bottled water and towels.
- brendan hurleyNovember 8, 2012The interior is a little worn and the lobby is very small. I was on the 14th floor but was kept awake by sirens and late night revelers below. However the staff is friendly.
- NO WIFI. Do NOT stay here if you are a business traveller. They claim to have it (and will charge for it), but this is my third night here with no wifi despite being supposedly included in the rate.
- It's what I expect from a Sheraton however it seemed crowded for our group of 450 for two days.
- Scott BrandmanApril 10, 2012Business hotel and the coffee bar in lobby doesn't open until 7:30am. Very odd. Walk to Marriot next door for Starbucks.
- WhitneySeptember 12, 2011If it's football season you can hear Shaw's marching band practice loudly from inside the guest rooms
- Shawn CosnerNovember 12, 2014Don't stay here until they remodel. I don't have cold water because of broken valves. The hotel is sold out. It smells old & there are stains everywhere
- This place is terrible, even post remodel. Coffee bar closes before noon. Staff is rude. Gym smells. Nothing good to report.
- Kate FulcherFebruary 27, 2010Really loud hallways and what housekeeping tries to clean rooms at 9am?!
