- Paul FarrellOctober 11, 2015Hands down the best brew I had in SF. Staff were friendly and a nice space. Worth a detour.
- Erlend HauklandApril 26, 2014Very cool place. The interior, space and lighting is quite special, and the cooffee speaks for itself. Great!
- Geoff PorterAugust 25, 2011Very good prepared drinks, although I prefer others. But for some beans to take home for your own press pot, there's are as good as it gets. And I love their logo.
- A favorite of Foursquare SF employees and visitors, this temple to meticulously made coffee is always worth a visit.
- Joey HernandezMarch 31, 2019great coffee shop with plenty if seats to do some work. upstairs area gets warm
- 3 random things to like: 1. Low toxin coffee (no mold)! 2. Zero attitude from baristas - seriously, you expect some 'tude but you'll find everyone is super friendly; 3. No Pink soap! Real soap!
- These affogatos are delicious though... Try the salted caramel ice cream in yours!
- Davita StrongDecember 23, 2015One of the best coffee joints around. Creep on the line and those who come and go while you enjoy your morning coffee.
- Excellent coffee, no wifi. Order from the "secret" bar upstairs if it's too crazy downstairs.
- Alessandro MingioneJuly 3, 2015Affogato bar is where it's at! Aside from that, this is an awesome place to get "—conscious" coffee
- Bennett W WongMay 4, 2016Friendly barista team members, large clean facility and prompt courteous service. Additional seating available upstairs.
- One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. Great coffee, space, atmosphere, staff, and treats. Downside: no wifi.
- Perfect coffee shop ambience. Love their potato Swiss herb turnover and vegan chocolate cake.
- Try the Blood Orange Olive Oil With Single Origin Espresso From Rwanda Affogato (via @Foodspotting)
- Kouris KalligasOctober 15, 2013Great meeting place, great variety of coffees! A must for coffee lovers
- Scott SchwalbachMay 13, 2016great place to relax, have a conversation, and hide from the hustle and bustle of the city.
- Lesley KAugust 6, 2013Another good spot to take a daytime breather or do some light work (the natural light is gorg). They use great beans & great milk=latte & black coffee is good.
- Andy JiangAugust 19, 2014Sightglass redefines post industrial minimalism with its exposed pipes and alluring hardwood floors. Hipster baristas and tech patrons. No wifi so bring a book.
- Ajay KulkarniDecember 28, 2012Grab a Coffee, ginger scone, and upstairs counter seat. And find your inner peace.
- Rafi SyedFebruary 11, 2013While you wait for your coffee, bother the baristas with coffee trivia, e.g., "does a cortado come in a ceramic cup or a glass?". Don't know the answer? Better get down to Sightglass.
- Like the cappuccino, but bummed no soy milk anymore. Plenty of seating! Good place to hang or work.
- Excellent coffee in a cavernous wooden space in SoMa. Bring some whole beans home too!
- great coffee! lots of seating (though it's usually packed), no wifi, but awesome space.
- Miyishia SlayOctober 23, 2013Cool design & community tables, but the joint doesn't have WiFi so no use in staying. Loud as well. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon, not enough perks (coffee, tea, food) to keep me interested
- Emily WheelerJanuary 28, 2015Their drip coffee is on the light side, but you can't go wrong with their espresso. And they have a record player.
- Beautiful space. Bring a camera. Pick up a pound of beans after enjoying a perfect cup of coffee.
- Boom. One of the few really good coffee shops in SF (Coffee Bar is another). Great coffee + great vibe. Almost like Seattle.
- Charles KnolesJune 29, 2015One of SF's best espresso bars. Often crowded and not much space to sit but still worth it.
- Amazing interior. My favorite coffee beans in San Francisco!
- A relative newcomer on the scene, it's making big waves with the technies in SOMA. Not bad - better than Ritual and Four Barrel and on some days as good as or better than Blue Bottle.
- Steijn PelleJanuary 10, 2016Great cappu, amazing pastries and a stunning interior design. Hangout for tech hot shots.
- Amazing coffee and super sweet interior. Good for grabbing coffee with @shl and tech celebrity sightings. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Jase WMarch 20, 2015A fantastic coffee shop. Coffee is tasty, staff is friendly, space is inviting. Worth the stop.
- Chris GoldenAugust 11, 2014Might be the best cup of coffee I've ever has. Get a single origin. It's worth the wait
- SillyCamillyAugust 27, 2011This place is pretty sweet! The baristas are kind. The music is funky. And if you come on a lucky day... You may meet the brilliant Jack Dorsey! :))
- Ginger scone has a pleasant crumbly texture and is not too sweet.
- Cappuccino is terrific, and don't sleep on the quick cup when you're in a hurry either
- Nice and quiet early in the morning with lots of open space. Gets busy by late morning with long queues.
- Jimmie TyrrellOctober 12, 2013Bike friendly, leave yours in the back against the wall. Never locked mine, you can see the only entrance/exit from most seats.
