- Bitches Who BrunchApril 13, 2016The classic Smoke Daddy pulled pork was stacked atop a very run-of-the-mill English muffin and covered with perfectly poached eggs and a chipotle hollandaise sauce. http://bit.ly/1KDkmDb
- Jake SmithMay 26, 2013Pulled pork sandwich here is a bit small, so order it Carolina Style (additional $1.50) to fill the bun out. Use the white-capped sauce (it's the best of the three). Bonus: Seasonal Sam Adams on tap!
- Eric RecioMay 14, 2014The food was very good. Waitress was very attentive as well. Met the manager/owner, and he was very cool too. Highly recommend this place. When it gets warmer I plan to try the outdoor seating area
- Solid BBQ, good beers and other drinks too. I suggest a table in the bar side and preferably in the summer. Get the burnt ends and Mac and cheese. Hush puppies to start.
- Marty ColchamiroJune 4, 2016Great sampler plate. Cole slaw homemade and great. Sweet potato fries very good. You are in for treat. First time here but not the last
- My husband came here three nights in a row. Have to admit it's pretty ridiculously good. Must haves: wings (the chipotle ranch is addictive) and sweet potato fries (tossed in cinnamon sugar). YUM
- Arslaan ArshedSeptember 25, 2014Now THIS is a BBQ place. Smoke daddy >> Chicago Q. Great brunch, brisket and bloody Mary's. You even get a small beer shooter 💁

- Nick AgroFebruary 13, 2012Usually I ignore the fanfare surrounding restaurants offering sweet potato fries but they are actually really good here. Crispy, not vegetably like other places. Also, RIBSS! The best!
- Time Out ChicagoMay 11, 2012Reserve your hunger for “The Rib Sampler,” a huge plate of baby back ribs, spareribs and rib tips. Don’t worry: The pink, smoky meat pulls off the bone easily, so you’ll clean your plate. Read more
- DailyCandyNovember 20, 2013The Daddy is a Wicker Park standby. Go for the pulled pork and indulgent weekend brunch (the fried peanut butter and banana sandwich is a must); stay for the giant patio and live music.
- Rebeca AguilarAugust 19, 2015Oh does delicious ribs!!!..order the ribs platter with out of this world mac-n-cheese and sweet potato fries...just awesome and of course beer.
- Ross CarusoSeptember 29, 2018Died and came back to life eating their jump-off-the-bone ribs. They are a must order. Plus the food came out within 5 minutes of ordering.
- Stacy Bo BacyJanuary 25, 2021Hella good. Meat from best to okay: baby back ribs, burnt ends, pork, chicken, brisket. Get all the sides.
- CarolOctober 30, 2014Get the Burnt Ends sandwich, it's some of the best BBQ in the city. $4 drafts on Mondays!
- ElizabethApril 13, 2015Incredible BBQ! Everything was delicious and their collard greens are the best I've had! Oh! And the Bloody Mary!!! 😍 you're welcome 😉
- This place is obviously a carnivore's dream but it also has one of the best veggie burgers in the city! So bring your veggie friends, they will love it too :)
- Ron HubersApril 3, 2013I got the half-rack of ribs with the half-chicken...one of the best combo's I've had in a long while! Pretty good local jazz band was playing on Sunday night.
- Mike EaganMarch 20, 2012Yeah the BBQ is good but you haven't lived until you've had a bloody mary that's topped with a skewer of pulled pork and bacon and chased with a pony of Miller (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- Some of the best BBQ in Chicago. I've recently moved to Los Angeles and I find myself constantly missing this place.
- Julius BryantMay 10, 2016Brisket was my favorite meat. Also had rib tips, baby backs, and burnt ends. The beans were pretty good too.
- Amy LebowskyOctober 5, 2015Twice now as a vegetarian, I've had a fantastic breakfast here. The Wicker Park Omelette is excellent, as is a Bloody Mary minus the meat skewer.
- Jillian BurnickasApril 24, 2016I'm not even a big BBQ person but I was really impressed with the food. The brisket is really good. I wish they had a spicy BBQ sauce though.

- They have 3 types of BBQ sauce. SWEET was my favorite. MUSTARD based. Awesome. ORIGINAL IS VINEGAR BASED. it's the default BBQ of the restaurant
- Dmitriy SandlerOctober 10, 2014Try the hot links or the ribs...fantastic! Mac'n'cheese or beans for sides you won't regret. Brisket is mediocre.
- Paul SomersJuly 5, 2011The pork is where it's at. The cornbread and bbq chips are both great sides. The waitress seemed a tad disinterested but it didn't take away from the great tasting food.
- Jeff WeinsteinApril 13, 2013Live music on Tuesdays. Ribs and chicken with mac and cheese and greens. Ask for their homemade hot sauce.
- Kate SchafferMarch 1, 2015Get the burnt ends if you can. Mac & cheese is super creamy. Sweet potato fries are perfection.

- My favorite is a medium-rare cheddar cheeseburger with bacon, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato with a side of their baked mac & cheese. You won't regret it.
- Staci StarksJanuary 12, 2012The pulled pork sandwich with a mixture of the KC & Chicago sauce is bbq heaven. The mac is also amazing.
- Kurt UhlirOctober 27, 2011Order a full slab of baby back ribs. They may be the best in the city. Then, choose your favorite of their sauces to add
- Elizabeth BlancoAugust 1, 2011love the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork...always with mac n cheese and slaw. Texan approved!
