- Timothy CavanaughNovember 22, 2013Excellent and ever-changing pizzas; fries with three dipping sauces = yum
- Best brunch spot in the Castro. Surprisingly uncrowded. I always get the Sunnyside Joes.
- ViatorStaffAugust 13, 2010Yummy small plates, thin crust pizzas, a beer list as long as our arm and a seasonal fresh fruit Pimm's cup. And to top it off, great desserts.
- Alex IshkinFebruary 14, 2014Everybody keeps talking about butternut squash pizza, but mushroom pizza is a decent choice, too!
- Blake SamicApril 1, 2012Great pizza - try the one with blue cheese and pear (even though that sounds weird).
- Do yourself a favor and get the michelada during brunch
- if the pork sugo pappardelle is on the menu, order it. thank me later.
- Attention British people: Turns out, "flapjacks" are pancakes, not flapjacks. However, they are very, very tasty pancakes. Fluffy and savoury.
- you have to order the chicken liver pate... and save room for the salted caramel pot creme! life-changing!
- Mel DogAugust 19, 2011Starbelly bacon. On pizza, in BLT's, or spaghetti= perfection. A great Castro staple.
- Great food, great service and if you're a dessert person, the toffee cake is a must have!
- Go near opening time for brunch, be sure to ask for a patio table.
- Kaylen ParkerOctober 21, 2018to celebrate my bday: food and wine = great. We made a reservation for 7pm and by 8:30 the manager rudely told us we needed to leave for the next reservation. Won’t go back to be treated that way.
- great casual dining with a really nice covered back patio. try the pizza!
- Ashley MowreyDecember 9, 2014Like the reviews said, the brunch is okay, the food was like warm and it took a long time to get out, overall the breakfast was meager for the cost.
- also highly recommended are the roasted Padrone peppers with sea salt. Just for fun, if you're sharing this plate, find the one fiery pepper and buy the next round of drinks.
- The chilaquiles are worth getting out of bed for. (and remember, they serve brunch until 4 on the weekend!)
- Order the flapjacks—which are fluffy and savoury—but substitute the syrup for the fruit preserve (normally with the French Toast.) Very good combination.
- BramJuly 10, 2016The place was pretty empty and there was enough personnel walking around. We were waiting for someone to help us but we were just being ignored. Also, the tables weren't clean. We left.
- Jeremy BarrazaNovember 14, 2010Get a good buzz with their large beer selection, then get like 5 orders of fries. The sauces are AMAZING.
- James the Wine GuyJune 2, 2011Love their small glasses of beer; less filling.... less guilt. Nice food--sit in the back patio!
