- Jill GustaferriSeptember 2, 2017Broiled Oysters are great. Obviously a perfect place for craft beer too! I've had almost everything on the menu at some point, all offer a creative alternative to what I originally expected.
- Everything here is delicious. And the servers know what they're talking about, so ask them for suggestions and pairings. The rotating beer list is one of the best in the city.
- Bad service? What the f--- are these reviewers talking about? The staff is lovely, the food is great and the bar has an exceptionally good selection of beers that are always changing. Love this place!
- Christoffer JakobsenJanuary 5, 2016Awesome selection of craft beer on both tap and bottle. Tap beers available in 3oz pours. Live music on Thursday nights. Backyard and board games!
- Best "sports bar" around. i.e., only a couple TVs, folks passively pay attention, not a 'sports' crowd at all, never too busy, food is fantastic, and beer list is primo.
- BasakAugust 1, 2014Great draft beer and dollar oysters. Lamb burger with feta cheese is a good option too. And the lovely backyard is a always nice bonus.
- Garren KatzJune 21, 2012Tough to beat $1 oysters at happy hour. A fine draft list too. On the negative side for me- the shucker did a 1/2 ass job, meat attached to shell on all oysters. Glasses are thick glass bottomed.
- CompassMay 14, 2014Two dozen beers on tap and a late night menu filled with sure-to-perk-you-up sides like spicy duck and fresh edamame.
- Frittatas/brunch are delicious. Good beer & wine selection, and decent coffee too. Nice garden in back with "giant Jenga."
- Sam BobbFebruary 26, 2017Excellent beer selection and good presentation there of. Good, present owner. Outdoor patio in the back.
- Chophel NamgyalJune 22, 2013Lollipop wings were so ridic good! Perfect blend of spicy and sweet! the duck fat edamame was awesome! Trust me and get both!
- Alissa LudanskaaApril 23, 2016Tried the tacos; and fries. Tacos were so so - fries are great. Lamb burger also looked amazing. 25 different tab beers.
- AskMenAugust 16, 2010An American bistro with gastropub tendencies. What do we mean by that? It's the little things, like the menu of sides that includes cajun boiled peanuts, deviled eggs and waffle chips with onion dip.
- Paula HaltonOctober 15, 2010Not a miss on the menu. Fantastic selections of oysters and beers. knowledgable servers who can guide you with beer pairings with each dish. overall a fantastic atmosphere and great menu!
- oyster happy hour from 5-7p ($1 oysters) and a great selection of craft brews on tap. nice outdoor area in the back for the summer summer summertime.
- SabrinaJune 14, 2015Great apps (deviled eggs and mini corn dogs). Friendly service and fun beer selection.
- AnnieFebruary 22, 2013Always a terrific draught list. They also play great music any time I've been in. Nice looking place, but the sleek wooden chairs are surprisingly uncomfortable.
- Good rotating craft beer list. Nice outdoor patio in the summer. Good but expensive smoothies
- Tuesday night $1 oysters are the best on Court Street. Friendly bartender, Knicks and Nets on the big screens. Great place to be.
- David GreenbergerSeptember 15, 2014At the risk of sounding WAY too Brooklyn, the Kale Farrow salad is ridiculous. I don't even know what farrow is but when it's topped with cheese and mushrooms it's right up my alley.
- Steph HFebruary 19, 2012Share the oyster sandwich as an appetizer, eat the deep fried lemon! Littleneck clams & chorizo are great. Kale side is amazing.
- Village VoiceSeptember 15, 2010Get the Market Veg Salad- Nothing about it is conventional: enoki mushrooms, slightly bitter frisée undercarriage, thin-sliced summer squash (which you may have mistook for cucumbers) & vinaigrette
- John WoodsOctober 16, 2016Outdoor seating, and strategically located across the street from the movie theater. Recommended.
- Great beer selection. Fries are the best in the neighborhood--truly fantastic. Lamb burger is disappointing.
- James StolzJanuary 28, 2016Annoying to pay the same price for 10 or 12 ounce beers that you'd pay for a pint anywhere else. Beermisers! Great selection though
- Village VoiceAugust 25, 2010Delicious Beet Tartare-Cooked but still firm, the beets are shredded and made into a hockey puck, while a chunky feta spread sits on top, strewn with chopped green chives
- John HazardAugust 27, 2015Cajun boiled peanuts are a cheap, light, & delicious bar snack. Great taps.
- Danielle RodierJune 19, 2014Great outdoor space in the back. Take note... do not try to enter the baptist church across the street called Strong Place... it's closed.
- Matt BorstFebruary 23, 2012$1 Oysters & 2 for 1 draft beers at happy hour. Get a Green Flash IPA. Also love the ironic name (look across the street).
- Jeremy ThorpMarch 6, 2011The truffles parsnip bisque is basically whipped cream with truffle oil. Of course, it should be noted that heaven is also basically whipped cream with truffle oil.
- lash larueDecember 11, 2014I have eaten here numerous occasions and it gets better every single time... awesome
- Neil WehrleAugust 19, 2010Had the duck confit, which was delicious. Kids had the chicken and it was amazing (almost too good for kids). Beer selection is mind-boggling.
- Kushal DaveApril 14, 2013The salads are perfect: hearty, innovative, delicious, and reasonably priced.
- For the MakersOctober 9, 2011Best for snacks + beer. Great $5 flights. As good southern girls we can't not order boiled peanuts and deviled eggs.
- Great beer selection, friendly staff, and delicious food. (and if the slightly slow service keeps the douchers away, I'm all for it)
- Alexis AbreuFebruary 6, 2011Sesame bok choy a hit. Beef tartar is served in a jar with lots of dressing, think salad. Topped w quail egg. A miss for me...
- Eleonora ZorziOctober 20, 2015I liked the pork tacos and the Riesling, but the beers are too pricey for their size.
- Vanessa Sant AnnaApril 29, 2017The place was quiet which I appreciate but service was crazy slow. I got the lamb burger which would be better if it was medium rare like I asked and not medium well/well. I will not come back :(
- little neck clams with spinach, bacon in an aligash white broth -- incredible
