Come early to avoid the queue, and get espresso, it's good and fast. The apple juice is also incredible
Everything is really good, the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and the scene is super cool. Only downside is the long line to get your fix.

If you can find a seat at the Ace hotel lobby, ask for your coffee in a real cup. This kinda coffee has to be savored.

Project Latte: a NYC cafe culture guideJanuary 11, 2012While there isn't much foot traffic on this stretch of W 29th St, if you're around at certain times, the entire opposite sidewalk will fill up with people from shops across the way praying to Allah.
The only pre-7 am stellar coffee option in all of Manhattan and possibly the East Coast.
If you're lucky, the staff will play a full album by The Afghan Whigs! (it's happened to me twice here!)

I love their coffee, I don't know what brand of milk they use but I don't even need to add sugar. The coffee is not bitter or harsh
They pull two shots for all sizes, so keep to the small latte unless you want to order extra shots in the medium or large!
