Leon HortonNovember 28, 2012Don't hit TSA security between 3:30 - 4:30 am. Shift change and NOone is at the checkpoint. Free WiFi is nice, place is clean.
Support new service and choose Copa Airlines if you're flying to Latin America.

If you're flying JetBlue and you're not checking a bag, print out your boarding pass at home to avoid the ridiculous kiosk line. Only one machine works at times!
If ur on SWA and the person next to you, behind you, in front of you or across the aisle from you has a baby; MOVE fast. Dayum.
Nice wine bar in the center of airport before security. security line is quick.
Decent food! Wi - Fi works! Downloaded aps/fonts & did social media pretty well.

Zachary RothmanAugust 9, 2012I shit you not, one of the few remaining airports with a designated smoking area (past the security checkpoint). :) Gate C's is around the corner from the food kiosks. HIT IT.
Flying Southwest you can grab a nice tall Sam Adams and a Nathan's hot dog while you watch everyone queue up.
So maybe I'm partial b it's my hometown but Tampa's Airport is so much more user friendly than most others!!!
Starbucks counter at the southwest baggage claim. Perfect timing ☕️ for the baggage belt 🧳
- Gotta love TIA. This airport let's you take beers to-go from the restaurants.
Take a cell phone pic of the level and row in the garage to make finding your car easy when you return.

When parking in Long Term Parking, try for the 5th floor Wright Brothers parking area. It's the first stop when you leave the airport.
Arrive early for easy check in...there's lots to see....great art displays!
They need more then one Starbucks inside security, the line gets crazy!
Preston PorterNovember 30, 2013Staff checking boarding passes before the trams are extremely rude and cause tons of confusion with carrying on bags. Let the airlines handle bags and stop intimidating their staff & customers.
