- Mitchell GoodmanAugust 17, 2014Some excellent food, and if you can't get a seat by the river the small garden at the rear is a nice little spot!
- Benj SellersMay 25, 2014Great pub that's very recently been given a complete makeover. It is sure to be very popular, sat right on the rivers edge. Good food, friendly service - we will definitely go back.
- HISTORY UKJanuary 17, 2011This pub is named after the Maria Wood, an ornate steamboat used by the Lord Mayor for official occasions, built in 1816 and moored nearby. This pub also starred in the Beatles film Help!
- Average food from a tired menu that hasn’t changed much in 4 years. Bar snacks are better value. The service has always been a bit hit and miss, especially when they’re busy, but now it’s just lazy.
- Alex FisherMarch 25, 2017Quite expensive but the food is amazing, and it's got a great atmosphere. Can get loud and busy in the evenings
- You're going to struggle to find a pub in a more lovely location on a summer's evening
- The perfect location by the river to enjoy a summer's evening
- ChiswickiansJuly 12, 2010Arrive early on a Sunday to avoid dissapointment if you wish to sample the Sunday Roast menu as it get's very busy! Worth it though, great food, great service and resonably priced!
- Jaynie Hearne - AyresJune 22, 2014Great refurb incredibly poor service which really let's the place down. The barman got my order wrong and have me the foulest look when questioned & another five minutes before serving my partner.
- Much bigger inside since the rebuild. All toilets now upstairs so not good for disabled etc. Service currently a bit disorganised, hopefully that will get better
- Time Out LondonMarch 26, 2012Located on a gorgeous stretch of the north bank of the Thames, this Fuller’s pub is not as small as it first seems.
- Mark HughesApril 11, 2016Lovely menu, consistently good, great service (others saying they had bad service must have been unlucky on the day. Excellent beer selection. Also love their Bloody Mary cocktail!
- Hang around until about 9.30 if you can to meet Diesel, the barge's most popular resident.
- SachaOctober 1, 2011Watch out, the path out the front and stairs get muddy and v.slippery after high tide
- J CeeSeptember 12, 2014Should be better than it is.. Grumpy staff and endlessly poor service. Odd atmosphere.. Mix of arrogant toffs and shouty drunks.
