- Mason McCoyOctober 6, 2019This is a beautiful, historically landmarked hotel. The interior was clearly redone from top to bottom a few years ago and it looks gorgeous. I had a great stay, highly recommended.

- Well maintained historic hotel in excellent location for theatre land. Decent, comfortable rooms. Dinner service was below par though, even when quiet.
- Beautiful hotel, valet parking is a little expensive at $30 but it's still worth going for. Buffet breakfast is excellent, especially the biscuits
- Devon MacyJune 12, 2014Gorgeous hotel that has been very recently renovated. You get two breakfast buffets complimentary. Lovely lovely. And an incredibly comfy bed too!
- Mary LJune 20, 2014Such an amazing hotel. Most comfy bed, ever. Try on the robe, you won't regret it. Oh and the front desk guy likes to do Meryl Streep impressions.
- RixJune 22, 2014Love this straight-up classic hotel. Had the best welcome EVER by the (not so straight) amazing guy at the reception
- James WhiteheadSeptember 23, 2012Awesome stay. Very accommodating. No paranormal experience this trip, maybe next time. Perfect place for a getaway. Great complimentary little breakfast.
- Steve RoemermanSeptember 29, 2015Much quieter than mega hotels. Use their shuttle. They are happy to haul you and it's free..., but please tip nicely.
- Apparently the hotel has been listened to previous complaints. My stay went very well. Bed was very comfortable, staff was courteous & helpful, plus complimentary breakfast good.
- CultureMap Houston ManagerMarch 27, 2012The rooms are lovely, but it's the extras that seal the deal: free Town Car service, evening turndown service, complimentary Wi-Fi, a 24-hour concierge
- Sara GrofcsikSeptember 16, 2012The staff are very nice, but a little too old for my preference. I love staying at older hotels, but it just seems a little run down. .
- Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Desperately in need of a remodel. Haven't had one decent night of sleep due to noise, musty room, fluctuating temp, and the most uncomfortable bed in the world.
