Alexandra LeiteApril 8, 2013Danny Meyer does it again. Have not been that happy at a restaurant since Eleven Madison Park. Sit at the bar -or not- and let Antonio be your man: tuna with cucumber, lobster and egg, rabbit. Amen.

I love their cocktails! Some of the best bartenders I've seen in NY. I disagree with this place being touristy. I come here often as I live next door and have often run into many people I know.

The bartenders here are the best! Not only are they knowledgable with wine and cocktails, they also give great recommendations for restaurants.

The causal, vibrant, and bustling space serves small plates of rustic, Alsatian cuisine. In addition to accepting reservations, The Bar Room welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. A separate street level entrance on west 53rd allows customers to enjoy the restaurant beyond museum hours.
